John Boehner hit it out the park with this true statement, Three words, "It's too divided."

He is the 2nd republican who publically stated the reason for leaving was Mr Trump vs the other republicans... I wish I could recall the person's name, but another one said the reason he was not staying in congress is that is all he was asked about was ..."What do you think of what Trump did?" He was very tired of having to defend Trump, explain Trump, or try to calm the crowd down, because what "Mr Trump was doing, was going to do or what he did".. Or what Mr. Trump said about this or that.

....There was no other focus for discussion said that politician. I am guessing, (don't know..so it is a guess) that this is..the major reason why so many of them are leaving congress. They can't take it. Trump is one hard act to defend...and that is it. The republicans cannot take it. Trump is their leader, and they can't take it any more.

We have a great opportunity to take back both houses of congress this fall. I sure hope we take advantage of this very special opportunity..

According to a study published in the New England Journal of Medicine Tuesday, researchers have concluded that the death toll in Puerto Rico from Hurricane Maria is more than 70 times the official count of 64 casualties, adding a lowball figure of at least 4,645 unrecorded deaths.

Per the study, it is especially challenging to tally death tolls after disasters like Hurricane Maria when infrastructure and health resources have fallen apart. The CDC reportedly classifies deaths as attributable to the storm if they are caused by “forces related to the event, such as flying debris, or if they are caused by unsafe or unhealthy conditions resulting in injury, illness, or loss of necessary medical services.”

The process is made even more difficult in Puerto Rico because all disaster-related deaths must be verified by the Institute of Forensic Sciences, which entails either transporting all the bodies to San Juan or waiting for a medical examiner to travel out and check the corpse.

The survey found that interrupted medical care was the most prominent cause of death in the months after the storm, and that there was a high correlation between remoteness and loss of health services and electricity.

The authors of the study conclude that, based on their research, there are probably about 5,000 dead Puerto Ricans who have gone thus far uncounted.

The police refuse to name the Indiana student who shot two people today..Why?

Who are the police protecting. So what if he is 12 or 13. He tried to kill people. He and his family lost their special privilege of his being a kid and a student, when he tried to kill people. People in the area know who he is as do his fellow students. So what is the big deal? Maybe I am being insensitive, but who is he? And why is that suburb keeping this asshole a secret? You tell me, please.

We're 21 weeks into 2018, and there have already been 23 school shootings where someone was hurt or killed. That averages out to more than 1 shooting a week.

The parameters CNN followed in this count are:

•A shooting that involved at least one person being shot (not including the shooter)
•A shooting that occurred on school grounds
•We included grades K through college/university level
•We included gang violence, fights and domestic violence
•We included accidental discharge of a firearm as long as the first two parameters are met.
