What do you think Trump REALLY thinks regarding the protests today?

I honestly feel that he is loving it. Especially with ardent supporters like this:

Edit: The tweet has been deleted. It was a video from today that showed some parading protesters giving the Nazi salute and yelling "Heil Trump."

Virginia newspaper uses Trump's 'fire and fury' comment to describe white nationalist rally

A daily newspaper in Charlottesville, Va. used President Trump’s North Korea warning of looming “fire and fury” to headline its coverage of a gathering of far-right protestors on Saturday.

The Daily Progress’ front page, emblazoned with the headline “Fire and Fury,” comes after a group of white nationalists, white supremacists and far-right protestors descended on the campus of the University of Virginia.

Bill O'Reilly set to make first appearance on CNN

Source: CNN

Throughout his reign as the undisputed king of cable news, Bill O'Reilly was synonymous with the Fox News Channel. But next month, O'Reilly is set to make an unprecedented visit to one of Fox's rivals when he sits down for an interview with CNN's Michael Smerconish.

The interview will mark O'Reilly's first appearance on CNN, providing another reminder of just how much has changed for him. This time a year ago -- or even five months ago -- it might have been unthinkable to imagine O'Reilly on a cable news channel other than Fox.

But at the end of an appearance Smerconish made on O'Reilly's online talk show Wednesday, O'Reilly told Smerconish that he would appear on Smerconish's CNN program.

It is unclear when exactly O'Reilly would go on Smerconish's program, which CNN airs on Saturday mornings.

After Obamas 2008 Win, Indiana GOP Added Early Voting in White Suburb, Cut It in Indianapolis

Source: Slate

In 2008, Barack Obama squeaked out an unexpected win in Indiana thanks in part to his huge margin of victory in Marion County, which has a large population of black Democrats. The state’s Republicans got to work right away, cutting early voting in Marion County, which includes the state capital of Indianapolis, while expanding it in a nearby suburban county filled with white Republican voters.

That’s the distressing but entirely predictable upshot of a blockbuster report published by the Indianapolis Star on Thursday. The Star found that between 2008 and 2016, Republican officials reduced the number of early voting stations in Marion County from three to one, resulting in a 26 percent decline in absentee voting in the 2016 presidential election. (Early votes are cast via absentee ballots.) Meanwhile, officials added two early voting stations to the neighboring Hamilton County, which is populated primarily by white Republicans. The county saw a 63 percent increase in absentee voting in 2016. There is now one early voting station for every 100,000 voters in Hamilton County and one for every 700,000 voters in Marion County. In total, the number of people who voted in Marion County decreased by 11,261 between 2008 and 2016 and increased in Hamilton County by 27,376—this “despite an increase of registered voters in both counties,” the Star reports.

Republicans’ assault on Marion County voters was methodical and coordinated. First, in 2010 and 2012, the lone Republican on the county’s election board blocked efforts to maintain three voting sites for federal elections, reducing the number to one. Then, in 2013, the Republican-dominated state Legislature passed a law that effectively barred “counties with populations over 325,000” from opening more than one early voting site. The bill was obviously designed to target Marion County, in addition to Lake and Allen counties, which also have sizable minority populations. County election boards could only override the law with the unanimous consent of all members. The Republican member of the Marion County election board has consistently refused to allow the opening of more than one early voting site.

Former Hollywood Assistant Posts Sexist Email She Received From Her Boss

Source: Variety

UPDATED: Rosette Laursen wanted to spend March 8, A Day Without a Woman, the same way many females across the country planned to: by demonstrating the value women bring to the modern workplace. Instead, her former boss allegedly responded to her request for an unpaid day off with a misogynistic reply.

...

An email meant only for two of Laursen’s male coworkers that accidentally got forward to the whole team read: “Are you f—ing kidding me. At the end of pilot season. Someone should sew her vagina shut. I’m never hiring a girl ever again.”

A second email continued, “No bonus for anyone that strikes or leaves early in pilot season. No one is striking in show business we are all against Trump. And women are considered diverse and being shoved in as writer and directors. Zach who is a Jewish male is being pushed out. Uppity Selfish C–t. Heather went to work. I’m sure anyone at a casting office or agency would be fired.” At the end of her post, she revealed her boss was talent manager Michael Einfeld of Michael Einfeld Management.

Upon realizing his mistake, Einfeld apologized to Laursen via text message. “I apologize for venting like a misogynistic faggot,” he started. “I was letting off steam I didn’t mean to hit reply all. I’m an a-hole. If you come back we can play Nazi death camp. You can beat me and put me in the oven. Or feed me cabbage and lock me in the shower. I am truly sorry.”

Navy secretary on transgender troops: 'Any patriot' should be allowed to serve

Source: The Hill

The recently confirmed secretary of the Navy says he will follow any order the president gives on transgender troops, but that “any patriot” should be allowed to serve.

“We will process and take direction of a policy that is developed by the [Defense] secretary [with] direction from the president and march out smartly,” Navy Secretary Richard V. Spencer told reporters Thursday night after visiting Naval Station Norfolk in Virginia.

"On a fundamental basis, any patriot that wants to serve and meets all the requirements should be able to serve in our military"

Spencer was confirmed a week after President Trump tweeted that he plans to ban transgender people from serving in the military.

Indian diplomat compares Ivanka to a half-wit Saudi prince who must be grudgingly flattered: repor

Source: Raw Story

How do foreign leaders deal with First Daughter Ivanka Trump?

According to one anonymous diplomat quoted by Hindustan Times editor-in-chief Bobby Ghosh, the key is to flatter her and make her feel important — just as you would do with a visiting member of a royal family.

“We regard Ivanka Trump the way we do half-wit Saudi princes,” the diplomat told Ghosh. “It’s in our national interest to flatter them.”

“Mr Modi’s invite to Ms Trump has generated a fair amount of unease because Ms Trump’s career credentials have almost entirely been built within her father’s business empire,” writes the Hindustan Times in an editorial. “But before criticizing Mr Modi’s decision, please do remember that Ms Trump is a senior adviser to the US president, Donald Trump. By inviting Ms Trump, Mr Modi is taking one for the team, and the nation."
