TEA PARTY JESUS vs. REPUBLICAN JESUS

"...Tea Party Jesus came along and told Republican Jesus™ he wasn’t Republican enough...."......

Perhaps you have already met my good friend Republican Jesus™? He’s that guy that Republicans claim is the loving son of God. The only problem is that he seems to hate pretty much everything and everyone except for his “chosen people.”

Are you not white? Republican Jesus™ hates you.

Are you a woman? Republican Jesus™ hates you.

Are you gay? Republican Jesus REALLY hates you. And so on.

We’ve all become pretty familiar with Republican Jesus™ over the last couple of decades. He’s the motivating force behind conservative politics. Or at least he was until Tea Party Jesus came along and told Republican Jesus™ he wasn’t Republican enough.

Who the hell is Tea Party Jesus?

Tea Party Jesus is the dimwitted illegitimate child of Republican Jesus™ and a roll of tinfoil from Ayn Rand’s kitchen cabinet. He was midwifed by the Koch brothers and Alex Jones. The whole affair was quite sordid and I’ll leave the icky details to your disturbed imagination. Suffice to say, Tea Party Jesus is a deep embarrassment to Republican Jesus™. But how far from the tree did the apple fall? Well, not too far at all it turns out. The problem is that the apple was rotten on the branch to begin with. When he was first born, Tea Party Jesus swore on Republican Jesus™’ Conservative Bible that he didn’t care about social issues, just economic ones. Issues like being Taxed Enough Already and the tyranny of Obamacare.

But the strange thing about this is that taxes were already at a decades long low. Even more bizarre, the original Tea Party that Tea Party Jesus named himself after wasn’t protesting taxes at all. They were protesting a tax cut for the East India Company, a multinational corporation (or the Colonial equivalent) which was undermining local businesses. Further, the original Tea Party was upset about being taxed without having a say in politics. “Taxation Without Representation!” was the slogan. Last time I looked, Tea Party Jesus had the best representation that billions in corporate money can buy. It appeared that Tea Party Jesus wasn’t very well educated about American history. Big Daddy Republican Jesus™ didn’t seem to mind, though. Tea Party Jesus was super excited about voting against Obama and that’s all Republican Jesus™ really cared about at the time. And, oh boy, did Tea Party Jesus vote against Obama! Republican Jesus™ was so proud of his little boy. But there were warning signs that something was seriously wrong with Tea Party Jesus. For instance, Tea Party Jesus couldn’t stop talking about Obama’s birth certificate. And he couldn’t stop making racist remarks about Obama, either. But Republican Jesus™ brushed this off as growing pains. But it didn’t stop. And it got worse.

What does Tea Party Jesus believe in?

Tea Party Jesus believes that being taxed lower than he was in the 80?s is the same as being overburdened with taxes.

Tea Party Jesus believes that the financial crisis of 2008, brought on by Wall Street running amok, is proof that we need less government regulation.

Tea Party Jesus is absolutely positive that the deficit has gone up since Obama took office.

Tea Party Jesus knows, just knows, that President Obama is a secret Muslim.

Tea Party Jesus believes that ACORN stole the 2008 election.

Tea Party Jesus also believes ACORN stole the 2012 election. They’re not entirely clear how that is possible since ACORN ceased to exist in 2010 but, darn it!, they believe!

This goes on for a while. But it doesn’t seem all that different from Republican Jesus™. Tea Party Jesus loves guns with the same kind of creepy sexual fetish. He loves the rich like a dog loves its abusive master. He loves the free market although he would be hard pressed to explain what it is. And Tea Party Jesus definitely loves the Constitution. Except, you know, for all the Amendments that aren’t #2.

Boehner, Cantor Spokesman DENY Durbin Account of White House Meeting

Spokesmen for both Speaker John Boehner and Majority Leader Eric Cantor say neither official said or remembers anyone else saying they couldn’t stand to look at President Obama at a White House summit during the government shutdown, as Democratic senator Dick Durbin of Illinois alleged in a Facebook post. “The speaker certainly didn’t say that, and does not recall anyone else doing so,” says Michael Steel, Boehner’s spokesman. Cantor spokesman Rory Cooper also says his boss did not say and does not remember anyone saying that.

Durbin said in an October 20 Facebook post, “In a ‘negotiation’ meeting with the president, one GOP House Leader told the president: ‘I cannot even stand to look at you.’”

Besides the fact that the top two GOP officials in the House don’t remember the moment, the allegation is odd for a number of reasons. First, Durbin doesn’t specify who allegedly said it. Second, and more important, the manner in which Durbin conveyed the information (a weekend Facebook post) doesn’t comport with how Democrats likely would have used the information had it been true.

If, at the meeting between Obama and the House GOP leaders, one Republican had told Obama he can’t stand to even look at him, that information would have been immediately useful to Democrats in the ongoing fights over the shutdown and the debt ceiling as evidence of GOP intransigence and unreasonableness. That makes it more likely it would have been leaked then and to a media outlet with credibility to convincingly assert the event actually took place.

Dick Cheney's HEARTLESS HYPOCRISY

BOOK LAUNCH INTO OUTER SPACE....BWHAHAHAHAHA...........................BREAK OUT THE 'BEANO'....

Former Vice President Dick Cheney, out promoting his new book Heart about how his life was saved by very expensive heart-transplant surgery, is simultaneously praising the Tea Party, which is hard at work trying to prevent less fortunate Americans from getting anything close to the government-financed care that spared Cheney. In an appearance on NBC's "Today" show, Cheney called the Tea Party and its fierce opposition to government spending a "good thing." He also noted how the Tea Party made possible the insurgent Wyoming Senate campaign of his daughter Liz because she was "partly motivated" by the same concerns about high taxes, high national debt and the cost of the Affordable Care Act.

Out of that zeal to repeal Obamacare, the Tea Party and its congressional adherents provoked this month's government shutdown and near credit default. Yet, Cheney declared, "I've got a lot of respect for what the people are doing." But what the Tea Party has been doing is trying to prevent the federal government from implementing reforms in the health-insurance system that would enable some 30 million Americans, including many with pre-existing conditions, to obtain insurance often at reduced or subsidized prices. The Tea Party is also fighting expansion of Medicaid for poor families in states controlled by Republicans. In other words, the Tea Party wants to force Americans with pre-existing medical conditions – like, say, a diseased heart – to remain at the mercy of greedy insurance companies that have made a lucrative business plan out of denying coverage to the people who need it most.

Such a victim of America's perverse health-care system would have been Dick Cheney, who has had at least five heart attacks dating back to when he was 37. But Cheney was lucky enough to qualify for government-funded health care as a federal employee for most of his adult life, including his time in the Nixon administration, his service in Congress, and his eight years as vice president. As a retired official who is now over 65, he further qualifies for Medicare and other health benefits.
The cost of the heart transplant alone over the first year is estimated at $1 million, and the 72-year-old Cheney has received a variety of other expensive heart procedures over the decades.

Saving the Cheney Family

But Cheney's personal hypocrisy regarding the federal government's role to "provide for ... the general Welfare" when it comes to less fortunate Americans did not start with the life-saving gift of a new heart. It traces back to the Cheney family's rise from the hard-scrabble life that confronted many hard-working Americans who were buffeted by the periodic financial crises of unrestrained capitalism, the system idealized by the Tea Party. In Cheney's 2011 memoir, In My Time, he acknowledges that his personal success was made possible by Franklin Roosevelt's New Deal and the fact that Cheney's father managed to land a steady job with the federal government. "I've often reflected on how different was the utterly stable environment he provided for his family and wondered if because of that I have been able to take risks, to change directions, and to leave one career path for another with hardly a second thought," Cheney wrote.

HIGH TIMES: 58% WANT LEGAL WEED

For the first time, more than half of Americans think that marijuana usage should be made legal, according to a Gallup poll released Tuesday. Fifty-eight percent of Americans now back legalizing marijuana. That represents an 8-point increase from the previous record of 50 percent in 2011, and a 10-point increase from November 2012, just after Colorado and Washington voted for legalization.

"With Americans' support for legalization quadrupling since 1969, and localities on the East Coast such as Portland, Maine, considering a symbolic referendum to legalize marijuana, it is clear that interest in this drug and these issues will remain elevated in the foreseeable future," wrote Art Swift, Gallup's managing editor.

Much of the new support for legalization comes among independent voters, 62 percent of whom now support it, up from just 50 percent last November. Majorities of all age groups up to age 64 also support legalization, including two-thirds of those from 18 to 29. Other surveys have found rapidly increasing support for legalizing marijuana use. A Pew Research poll released in March found a majority supporting legalization for the first time.

The Gallup poll surveyed 1,028 Americans by phone between Oct. 3 and Oct. 6.

Conservative Dennis Miller Calls Upon Small Business Owners To FIRE EMPLOYEES Who Support Obamacare

Here we go again,...another dumb 'No Talent' republican dipshit squatting fucker with nothing to say.......

Conservatives may have lost the battle to repeal Obamacare by holding America hostage, but they are still waging war against it. In what could be a new tactic against President Obama’s signature health care law, right-wingers are now urging small business owners to fire any employee who support it. At least that’s what radio host Dennis Miller told a caller to do on Friday.

Right-wing radio host Dennis Miller told a small business owner to fire employees who support Obamacare.

During a broadcast of The Dennis Miller Show, the conservative host talked to an alleged small business owner named Tony. Miller advised him to investigate his employees to see which ones are Obama supporters and then fire them no matter how good of a worker they are.

“Promise me this, Tony. If for your purposes you have to let some people go, kind of get the office wrangle of who’s an Obama supporter, who’s an Affordable Care Act – and do the right thing. You can’t go on seniority anymore, there’s some people who think this is crap. Fire a believer, they’ll understand. Just say “we’re all in this together, this is what you wanted, I have to let you go. But at least you’ll have health care in the single payer.”"

Miller then went on to further explain what employers should do to find the workers to fire. He urged business owners to inspect the vehicles of their workers to find out who supports the Affordable Care Act based on what kind of political bumper stickers are on their cars. He then said to fire the Obama supporters.

“Folks I’m not saying that to be mean. That’s how weird things have gotten, where if you say that you’re thought to be perverse or vindictive. Who else would you fire?

Go out, into the parking lot, if somebody has to be cut to 29 hours, if somebody has to be fired, you know how proud they are, the Obama-Biden bumper stickers in their original permutation they’re still on five years down the road. Clock who they are, as you have to fire people, call those people into the office. Not somebody who doesn’t believe in it, that’s been there two days less than them, that’s the past, that’s silly. You’re doing the right thing, you’re not being mean. Look them in the eyes and say, “You know, this is your thing. I can’t afford you anymore. So at least you know I’m doing the right thing.”"

Miller was unapologetic in his rant and even seemed to believe that the fired workers would completely understand and be patriotic about losing their jobs.

“They won’t argue with you. Ooh, if they do, I’d be shocked. Because certainly we all have to pull together here, don’t we? Fire somebody with an Obama-Biden sticker on their car in the employee parking lot. It’s the right thing to do. They’ll understand. They’re patriots.”

Texas Republican Judge SWITCHES Party Allegiance In Incredible Video

The fallout from the government shutdown continues to rain down upon the Republican Party. Not only do the American people despise the GOP right now, but so do members of their own party. In fact, it’s so bad for the party that members are literally switching their political allegiance and joining the Democrats. That’s precisely what a Texas judge has done.

Texas Judge Carlo Key renounced the Republican Party and switched his allegiance to the Democrats.

Texas Judge Carlo Key is a Republican. Well, he used to be until recently. The Bexar County judge formally renounced the GOP in a video he released on Sunday. And then Key did something that should send warning signals to the Republican Party. He announced his decision to join the Democratic Party and he explained why. Judge Carlo Key said he made his decision because the Republican Party has been taken over by hate, bigotry, and extreme ideology. The conservative principles that the party once stood for have disappeared.

“Rational Republican beliefs have given way to ideological character assassination,” Judge Carlo Key declared. “Pragmatism and principle have been overtaken by pettiness and bigotry. Make no mistake, I have not left the Republican party. It left me.”

Judge Carlo Key then took a shot at Republicans such as Ted Cruz and other members of the Tea Party who have shamefully used hate speech to build political power. He seemed truly embarrassed to be in the same party with them.

“I will not be a member of a party in which hate speech elevates candidates for higher office, rather than disqualifying them. I cannot place my name on the ballot for a political party that is proud to destroy the lives of hundreds of thousands of federal workers over the vain attempt to repeal a law that will provide healthcare to millions of people throughout our country.”

One of His VICTIMS Files a CIVIL RACKETEERING RICO Complaint Against MITT ROMNEY

For most Americans justice means moral rightness based on ethics, law, equity, and fairness, and it is supposed to take into account the inalienable rights of Americans to enjoy equal protection before the law without discrimination, and is generally regarded as being an integral part of social justice. Unfortunately for all Americans, there is not fairness under the law when corruption and cover-ups protect rich and powerful men and it often leaves a victim feeling helpless with little or no recourse but to take the law into their own hands that generally connotes acts of violence. Fortunately for one victim, taking the law into his own hands means becoming a “private attorney general” and using the justice system in his 13-year battle against very rich and powerful adversaries with influence in high places. Last Friday in California, a victim, Stephen “Laser” Haas, who has been denied justice for over a decade took the law into his own hands and filed a “Civil Racketeering” RICO complaint against Willard Romney, Bain Capital, Goldman Sachs, and various co-conspirators. Mr. Haas filed his complaint in California because a Delaware Bankruptcy Court deliberately held up a filing that named Romney in late October 2012, and later ruled in December that Haas was permanently barred from seeking justice in her federal court by issuing an order stating the court clerk is forbidden from accepting any of his filings in the eToys bankruptcy case.

By filing a Civil Racketeering complaint, Haas (the plaintiff) is allowed by law to become a “Private Attorney General” to address issues of “Prosecutorial Gaps” that exist in the eToys bankruptcy case. The gaps are the result of the former United States Attorney in Delaware (Colm F Connolly), who was previously a partner with the law firm that represented two of the defendants; Goldman Sachs and Bain Capital. As the U.S. Attorney, Connolly conveniently failed to prosecute his former partners, Romney, or Bain Capital, fulfilling the requirement of “prosecutorial gaps” Haas is addressing as a private attorney general. Any citizen is permitted to become a “Private Attorney General” to address issues of lack of prosecutions as their Civil Right that has been affirmed by the U.S. Supreme Court in the Sedima case.

Mr. Haas is prosecuting the case against Romney, Bain Capital, Goldman Sachs et al under the Racketeering Influence Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO 1970) that is part of 18 U.S.C. § 1961-1965 that lists “predicate acts” required to prosecute RICO criminally or civilly including Sections 152-156 dealing with bankruptcy fraud. In fact, 18 U.S.C. § Section 1964(c) allows that “any person injured in his business or property by reason of violation of section 1962 of the RICO chapter may sue by Civil RICO” that Congress believed was necessary because they were aware of “prosecutorial gaps” and provided the incentive of treble damages to entice parties to utilize the statute. Laser Haas felt that throughout 13 years of battling Romney and Bain Capital to reclaim his rightful place as executive to liquidate eToys, he was denied justice that was incentive to become a “private attorney general” and file a “Civil RICO” complaint against Romney. Romney is as culpable as his surrogate bankruptcy gang because he was head of Bain Capital when his gang corrupted justice in the eToys bankruptcy case.

According to Haas, he wants Romney’s bankruptcy gang that threw him out illegally held to account and demands reinstatement as the rightful executive with authority over the eToys estate. He is also going to ask the court to “Officially Notify and Refer” the case to the Department of Justice, and is magnanimous enough to not care if the perpetrators are prosecuted or sent to prison. There are millions of Americans whom may disagree with Haas and likely believe that Romney, like any other corrupt businessman, should be prosecuted with extreme prejudice and sent to prison if found guilty. However, it is likely that after the defendants are served with a Notice (subpoena), they will seek a summary dismissal in court or attempt to use corruption to have the complaint tossed out of court as they did in Delaware.

Marco Rubio REWRITES Government Shutdown History

The reTHUG Rubio Waterboy is trying deflect his government shutdown involvement
by trickling down a sewage drain........

WASHINGTON -- Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) on Sunday attempted to distance himself from the government shutdown strategy he and other potential GOP presidential candidates in the Senate pursued for much of the summer, arguing that blame for the shutdown rests with President Barack Obama. "I was never in favor of shutting down the government or of defunding the government. I was in favor of voting to fund the government fully," Rubio said on "Fox News Sunday" with Chris Wallace. "The only thing I didn't want to see is us wasting any more money on Obamacare, which is already a disaster."

Rubio, along with Sens. Ted Cruz (R-Texas), Mike Lee (R-Utah) and Rand Paul (R-Ky.), led the Senate-side GOP push for the government shutdown strategy. Over the summer, Rubio refused to back any funding package for the federal government that would allow the health care law to go into effect. Absent a funding bill, the government would be forced to shut down. "On this issue we’re willing to fight no matter what the consequences, politically or otherwise [are]. If that issue is not Obamacare, I can’t understand what issue it would be," Rubio told conservative talk radio host Mark Levin in August. "You cannot say you are against Obamacare if you are willing to vote for a law that funds it."

At the time, Rubio took heat from conservative strategists who said he was joining the "Suicide Caucus" of Republicans seeking to force a politically damaging government shutdown. Later in the "Fox News Sunday" interview, Rubio tacitly acknowledged his earlier stance on the issue. He complained about being criticized for not being "realistic" about the prospects for defunding Obamacare. He said that advocates who don't take into account the House GOP's opposition to many aspects of immigration reform, including a pathway to citizenship for undocumented immigrations, are themselves being unrealistic.

"We have been lectured about being realistic: 'You're not going to get rid of Obamacare, repeal it, defund it -- you need to be realistic.' They need to be realistic about immigration reform. The fact of the matter is that the House has very strong opinions on what it should look like. I think many Democrats have to make the decision about immigration. Do they want it as a political talking point, or are they looking for a result?"

Petition DEMANDS THE END Of Ted Cruz In The Senate

"...Who pushed for the government shutdown? Ted Cruz did. Who urged House Republicans to initiate the shutdown? Ted Cruz did. Who convened a secret meeting with Tea Party Republicans to make sure the shutdown continued? Ted Cruz did. Who called for blowing past the debt ceiling even though it would hurt the economy? Ted Cruz did. And who intends to cause another shutdown in January? Again, that would be Ted Cruz. Because of his role in the government shutdown that lasted 16 days and cost America $24 billion, a petition has sprung up calling upon the US Senate to expel Cruz from their ranks..."

The Senate can expel Ted Cruz according to the Constitution

It’s not an impossible task either. According to Article 1, Section 5, Clause 2 of the Constitution,

“Each House may determine the Rules of its Proceedings, punish its Members for disorderly Behaviour, and, with the Concurrence of two thirds, expel a Member.”

Considering the fact that the Texas Republican has drawn the ire of many of his Senate colleagues for damaging the party, enough votes for expulsion could certainly be mustered.

There are many reasons why the Senate should expell Ted Cruz

There are many reasons why Cruz should be expelled. He took his obsession to derail Obamacare too far. He opposed the original clean budget bill that was passed by the Senate with bipartisan support. He then worked up House Republicans to stand their ground until their demand to defund the health care law was met by Democrats. At the urging of Cruz, they shut the government down and threatened to let the nation default on the debt. As a result, 800,000 federal workers were laid off, businesses lost money, hungry families were deprived of food assistance, children were deprived of school, and the full faith and credit of the United States was placed in jeopardy. Cruz even held a secret meeting with Tea Party members of the House to make sure they stand their ground no matter what. Even if the country crashed all around them. The shutdown ended, of course, as did the debt ceiling crisis. Democrats and moderate Republicans joined together to pass a budget extension that lasts until January. They also raised the debt ceiling until February. And even though great damage was done to the country and to the Republican Party, Ted Cruz has vowed to shut the government down and take us to the brink of disaster again this winter. That’s precisely why a petition was created on Moveon.org to urge Senators to prevent such a disaster from falling upon the nation again.

A petition is circulating calling upon the Senate to expel Ted Cruz to prevent another shutdown

The petition, which you can sign states:

“Senator Ted Cruz’s leading role in leveraging the government shutdown based on his irresponsible and dangerous agenda in an attempt to defund the ACA has inflicted reprehensible devastation upon the American people and the nation’s economy. His obvious lack of remorse for his actions with his subsequent messages that he “would continue to do anything he can, to stop the train wreck that is Obamacare” is further reason to expel this senator before he paves the way to yet another destructive government shutdown.”

It’s certainly possible that the Senate could punish Cruz in some way, and they should. He conspired with Tea Party Republicans to hold America hostage to achieve a policy goal that had nothing to do with the budget or the debt ceiling. He and his cohorts threatened the economic security of the United States and damaged our reputation around the world in order to take health care away from the American people. The Affordable Care Act was legally passed by Congress, signed by the President, and ruled constitutional by the Supreme Court. House Republicans failed to repeal it forty times using the normal and accepted congressional process. Cruz, however, used a reprehensible and dangerous tactic to force the Democrat controlled Senate and the White House to capitulate to GOP demands. As such, Cruz is guilty of seditious conspiracy under the US Code, which makes him unfit to remain in the US Senate.

McConnell To Cruz: DON'T TREAD ON ME!

CAGE MATCH: TURTLE vs. WEASEL .......................

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) doesn't want another government shutdown, but Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) is already egging on the next one. A power battle brewing between the two senators is growing personal ahead of the next critical deadline. Federal government funding expires again on Jan. 15 and the two influential senators are already on a collision course after Cruz's quixotic push to defund Obamacare fell flat in the recent budget debacle and badly damaged the GOP's standing before the party surrendered. "There will not be another government shutdown," McConnell said Sunday. "You can count on that."

Cruz, by contrast, isn't the least bit chastened after systematically undermining GOP leaders and goading his party into a self-defeating predicament. In fact, he wants a do-over. "I would do anything, and I will continue to do anything I can to stop the train wreck that is Obamacare," said the freshman senator, when asked if he'd risk another shutdown. "What I intend to do is continue standing with the American people to work to stop Obamacare." McConnell had publicly punted on the party's recent Obamacare defunding gambit and refused to intervene until the government shutdown was well under way and a debt default was nearing. Now he's publicly making the case and sending a new message: if you want to repeal Obamacare, elect Republicans to the Senate and White House. "We have a math problem in the Senate in getting rid of Obamacare," he said. "It's the following math problem: 55 Democrats and 45 Republicans. We only control a portion of the government, and so that limits our ability to get rid of this horrible law."

Cruz doesn't care what McConnell thinks. The shutdown boosted his standing among conservatives and enshrined his hero status with the grassroots base that craves confrontation with President Barack Obama, and will elect the 2016 GOP nominee for president. "I don't work for the party bosses in Washington. I work for the people of Texas, and I fight for them," Cruz said, in an apparent swipe at McConnell. He portrayed GOP senators as squishes and lamented that unnamed "Republican gray beards" want to implement Obamacare and "inflict a bunch of harm on the American people and hope we benefit politically from it. What a terrible cynical approach."

The internal GOP power struggle is shaping up to be a major factor in the coming Jan. 15 deadline to finance the government or face another shutdown. McConnell's remarks appeared to be a warning shot that he won't put up with Cruz's antics again. But "old guard" Republicans remain at a loss for how to sideline the senator and his allies without facing the wrath of the conservative base they depend on to win elections. "Serious question: Is there a mechanism for any Republicans to hold Heritage Action, Senate Conservative Fund, Americans for Limited Government or Red State accountable? Dare you. Double dog dare you," said an aide to a veteran GOP senator. "Bob Corker can call out Cruz and [Utah Sen. Mike] Lee, and Heritage Action says Corker's no longer a Republican."
