Secret Service Failed To Warn Top Democrat About Assassination Threats - Ring of Fire

According to new Secret Service documents obtained by Citizens For Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW), the Secret Service not only had multiple advance notices about the threats coming on January 6th, but they also failed to notify the Capitol Police about threats of assassination against Senate majority leader Chuck Schumer. This agency has proven to be as corrupt as the rest of DC, and it may be time to rethink their existence. Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins discusses this.

The group Citizens for responsibility in ethics in Washington. Crew recently got their hands on a whole mess of documents from the United States Secret Service. And one of the things they found out was that the Secret Service had received credible threats about an attempted assassination plot against Chuck Schumer, the Senate Majority Leader on January 6th. Here's what happened. This is a truly disgusting story, because not only I kind of left out the best part there, not only did the Secret Service get this memo,

They, they didn't tell anybody until little over an hour after they knew that somebody was trying to kill Chuck Sh uh, Chuck Schumer. So here's what happened, Newsmax, on January, uh, sixth at 4:00 PM Newsmax received a call from an individual, uh, said that, uh, um, they were going to kill Chuck Schumer. Um, they, they were armed. They were there. Um, and that was actually at 3:59 PM not 4:00 PM according to the timestamp. Newsmax rightfully said, Holy crap, this is terrible. They sent it over to the Secret Service. 10 minutes after the Secret Service received it, they sent it over to their, um, protective Intelligence and assessment division, the P I D and the P I D again, part of the Secret Service, did nothing for an hour. Then an hour later, they're like, Oh, by the way, Chuck, hey dude, um, people are gonna try to kill you. You probably need to watch out. Capital Police, uh, people wanna kill Chuck Schumer. So, you know, just keep an eye out. And our, as the crazy nut jobs were inside the capital building and the Secret Service couldn't take five seconds to phone the capital police and be like, Protect Chuck Schumer. Credible threat against him.

You could have texted that to them, but you didn't do it. And I demand to know why. Crew demands, to know why Demand was the Senate Majority leader. It still is. And there were people that were at the rally saying, We're going to kill him. And you didn't bother to let anybody know, You didn't bother to let the Capitol police know for over an hour. They, they could have provided a little bit more security. Now, obviously, Chuck Schumer did not get harmed that day, thank God.

But what this shows us is that the Secret Service is a broken organization. It's broken, and I personally believe that it is broken beyond repair. And I think it's time to tear the whole thing down, get rid of every single person, and rebuild it in a new way from the ground up, a full systemic overhaul, top to bottom. Everybody gone start over from scratch because these agents, the people in charge, what we have learned about them in just the last four or five months, this is a disgustingly corrupt MAGA organization. And it's time for it to be dismantled and then rebuilt with people that actually care about the job and not just a political party.
