upaloopa's JournalJust wondering, will Hillary redecorate the White House
herself this time or will she hire it out?
Hillary is either supporting Obama or
throwing him under the bus. Hillary is guilty of anything bad that the Bill Clinton administration did.
News flash: Hillary isn't Obama 2.0 or Bill Clinton 2.0.
Hillary is a strong independent woman who will make a great President.
It's getting close to the time to consider
some VP picks for Hillary. I like Warren making it a total women's ticket.
I am anxious to have women running things for the next 8 years.
I am an 69 yr old man and I remember as a kid it was said the country would be better off with women running things but back then it wasn't even a consideration.
It is not the DNC who is forcing Hillary on anyone. It's just that there are more Hillary supporters
then any other candidate's supporters. That is known as democracy.
I know some feel that we are taking away their chance at economic justice. Well we are not your enemy. The conservative SCOTUS is your enemy. The conservative Congress is your enemy. Conservative State legislatures are your enemy. ALEC is your enemy.
The Citizen's United decision is your enemy. Together we can fight against them.
Anybody know anything Bernie said to the
20,000? We know some folks were expelled.
Hillary's little town halls seem to be getting more press. She is also leading Biden by 39 points and that other guy in third place.
Idealism vs Pragmatism - I think that much
of what we argue about (discuss) here centers on this.
If Hillary wins idealists will be forced to vote for a pragmatist. If Bernie wins pragmatists will be forced to vote for an idealist.
This isn't everything in a nut shell but it is a big part of what is going on in the backs of our minds I think. I know it is always on my mind.
I am a pragmatist and being forced to vote for an idealist scares the shit out of me.
Half of the country leans or is right wing. So I'd say they will not vote for either a Dem pragmatist or idealist. That means we must depend on independents to win if we Dem's vote for our nominee no matter what her/his political thinking is.
In my mind it boils down to whether independents will vote for an idealist or not. I think not.
Shell abandons Alaska Arctic drilling
Source: The Guardian
Shell has abandoned its controversial drilling operations in the Alaskan Arctic in the face of mounting opposition in what jubilant environmentalists described as an unmitigated defeat for big oil.
The Anglo-Dutch company had repeatedly stressed the enormous hydrocarbon potential of the far north region in public, but in private began to admit it had been surprised by the popular opposition it faced.
Shell said today it had made a marginal discovery of oil and gas with its summer exploration in the Chukchi Sea but not enough to continue to the search for the foreseeable future.
Shell has spent over $7bn (£4.6bn) on its failed hunt for oil which critics said could only endanger one of the worlds last pristine environments and produce expensive hydrocarbons that were no longer needed.

The enemy of my enemy is my friend
By using repub scandals to support your candidate makes the repubs your friends.
Why do dirty work when they will do it for you.
