By saying many sides Trump is catering to his racist white base. These people are suburbanites or live in rural areas who don't necessarily identify themselves with the alt right, neo nazis, or KKK but who also resent "the others" for a variety of stupid reasons. These people are the ones I fear and are scarier than the racists who were in Virginia today.

Why doesn't the media just ignore Trump
As much as he says he hates the media, Trump thrives off of media attention. He loves it....I think the amount of attention that he received in the primaries is the reason that he won the nomination....the media should ignore all the crazy tweets, the dumb statements, his speeches, huckleberry-sanders, etc....Some may say he is the POTUS and must be covered, some may say that if the media ignores him then he will be able to inact his agenda and everything in the shadows without people paying attention....That would be true if we were talking about any other right wing politician, they would love it. But not trump because he really has no real agenda. His agenda is being famous and having everyone talk about him.
