Today marks about 6 weeks of quarantine. I’ve been running 2.5 miles everyday, drinking 2 gallons of water. I cut out ALL meat, sugar, dairy and flour. I feel fantastic! Zero alcohol, a healthy vegan diet, gluten free, caffeine free, sugar free and a 30 minute home workout each day.
I have no idea whose post this is, but it said copy & paste it as my status. So I did.

How does India, a country of 1.3 billion people, have around 1,000 coronavirus deaths?
Very interesting article. It sounds like things are really working in India. Well, you know how they always say negative things about India? Take this all the way to the bank Trump!
(In India only 4% of tests are positive. There is no general increase in deaths from nonspecific causes. The United States is average 17% positive.)
Some experts say that India's relatively positive numbers suggest the country's nationwide lockdown to halt the spread of Covid-19 could be working -- for now."India didn't wait for the problem to escalate," India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on April 14, as he extended the country's 21-day nationwide lockdown until May 3. "Instead, as soon as the problem appeared, we tried to stop it by making swift decisions. I can't imagine what the situation would have been had such quick decisions not been taken."
But the reality behind India's numbers is more complicated -- and experts caution that it is too early for India to congratulate itself.
"At least in this round, it appears that the virus has not been able to damage as much as been feared," Srinath Reddy, the president of the Public Health Foundation of India, a non-profit that works on training, research and policy development. "I don't think we can say that we have completely closed the book on this."

Hotel occupancy rates have dropped by 50% to 80% around the country. Many hotels have shut down completely during the pandemic. This is bad news not only for hoteliers but for bedbugs, which depend on a human blood to stay alive. According to the travel website Your Mileage May Vary, young bedbugs start to die off if they don't eat in 20 days. Older bedbugs can survive between 2 to 3 months, and in some cases up to six months. If hotels stay closed longer than six months it will be the most expensive bedbug eradication procedure in history.

Some malls/stores are opening for retail-to-go Friday. Here's how it will work.
Sorry about the local article(s), but I assume this is how it will work throughout the state:
Under state guidelines, customers can’t go inside stores and employees must be screened for COVID-19, wear face coverings and stay at least 6 feet apart. Payments should be made online or over the phone.
When customers drive up for an order, employees should put their items in the backseat or trunk to minimize contact, and wash or sanitize their hands and any items a customer touched afterward.
As for delivery, items should be dropped off on a customer’s doorstep by an employee or third-party carrier, who should not go inside the patron’s house or business, the guidelines state.

Two San Antonio malls are preparing to offer to-go services Friday after shuttering amid the coronavirus pandemic.
North Star Mall and The Shops at La Cantera will be open for curbside service, according to Rachel Wille, a representative for Brookfield Properties.
The company will post a list of participating retailers on each mall's website before the properties open at 11 a.m.

After coronavirus shut down malls, five in the Houston area are preparing to offer to-go services from select retailers in each mall starting April 24.
Brookfield Properties is opening its five malls in the Houston area, which includes Baybrook Mall, Deerbrook Mall, First Colony Mall, Willowbrook Mall and The Woodlands.
The company is still finalizing which retailers will participate in the to-go program, but will release more information on each mall's site as it becomes available, according to Rachel Wille, a representative for Brookfield Properties.

As an aside, I purchased curbside from Kohl's a few weeks ago. The store was closed. Also at that time, Sally's Beauty was also closed, but some locations offered curbside.
Is this rural community really Texas' sickest county?
It’s impossible to know for sure how the new coronavirus got to rural Donley County, but locals bet it took U.S. Route 287, like everything else.
The highway carries 14,000 cars through on a normal day, about four for each of the 3,387 people living in the perfectly rectangular county near the Oklahoma side of the Texas Panhandle. Drivers stop at the Allsup’s or Cornell’s Country Store as they blaze from Dallas toward Denver or back again.
When known coronavirus cases are mapped for each of Texas’ 254 counties, Donley County looks like a sickly glitch, an outlier: It was reporting nearly 7 cases for every 1,000 people as of Sunday. The state’s next-highest known rate of infection was under 5 per 1,000, also in a Panhandle county; in Dallas, that figure was less than 1 per 1,000.
But the statistical aberration may better reflect Texas’ limited coronavirus testing than Donley County’s poor health.

Sure Coronavirus has a direct impact on everyone, so that's why it consumes me and everyone..We all gotta wear a mask, grocery shortages, everything closed, only go to the store every two weeks and it just seem like every day chores are a PITA nowadays..
.But at the time, this oil spill consumed me......for two long months...
