I'm not a scholar in "censuring." What, if anything, does it achieve?

My concept...without writing a term paper on it...is that it's like a demerit in school or time in the penalty box in hockey.

Is there any lasting impact or significance, or is it a tiny slap on the wrist?

So, Tuesday it is. I don't see Pence responding to his "deadline."

House to make an official call for Mike Pence to invoke the 25th Amendment

https://www.rawstory.com/house-officially-25th-amendment/

"Pelosi said Sunday the House will attempt to pass a resolution by unanimous consent Monday morning calling for Vice President Mike Pence and President Donald Trump's Cabinet to invoke the 25th Amendment and remove Trump from office -- her first time definitively saying the House will move to impeach him," the CNN report read.

If the demand doesn't pass by unanimous consent on Monday, Pelosi intends to call it for a roll-call vote on Tuesday.

PGA to strip Trump golf club of 2022 PGA Championship

The PGA of America has hinted at plans to prevent President Donald Trump's National Bedminster golf club from holding the 2022 PGA Championship, NJ.com reported.

The organization made the move after the president incited a deadly riot on Capitol Hill.

According to Golfweek's Eamon Lynch, the PGA will officially strip Bedminster of the championship after Trump leaves office.

Georgia Officials Reveal Third Trump Call Seeking to Influence Election Results

ATLANTA — More than a week before President Trump called Georgia’s secretary of state, pressuring him to “find” votes to help overturn his electoral loss, the president made another call, this one to a top Georgia election investigator, in which he asked the investigator to “find the fraud” in the state.

The earlier phone call, which came to light on Saturday, along with the revelation that White House officials had pushed the top federal prosecutor in Atlanta to resign, underlined a broader push by Mr. Trump to overturn election results in the state.

Mr. Trump’s phone call, made in late December, was first reported by The Washington Post. The content of the Post report was verified by a state election official who requested anonymity because the official was not authorized to speak about the matter.

In the call, Mr. Trump said the investigator would be a “national hero” for finding evidence of fraud. At the time, Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger’s office was conducting an audit of more than 15,000 ballots in Cobb County, a populous suburb of Atlanta that was formerly a Republican stronghold but voted against Mr. Trump in both 2016 and 2020.

Susan Collins' legendary "concern" is now "outrage" that stops short of her impeachment vote

A spokesman for Senator Susan Collins of Maine said she was “outraged” by Mr. Trump’s role in the violence, but could not comment on an impeachment case given the possibility she could soon be sitting in the jury.

Stable Genius scurries to @POTUS account, squirts out 4 angry tweets, all 4 get deleted in 10 min

"After close review of recent Tweets from the @realDonaldTrump account and the context around them — specifically how they are being received and interpreted on and off Twitter — we have permanently suspended the account due to the risk of further incitement of violence," Twitter announced on Friday.

Conservatives whined about their "new dystopian future," but Trump simply used a different account to complain about the company.

"As I have been saying for a long time, Twitter has gone further and further in banning free speech, and tonight, Twitter employees have coordinated with the Democrats and the Radical Left in removing my account from their platform, to silence me — and YOU, the 75,000,000 great Americans who voted for me," Trump complained, using his official, government account @POTUS.

He posted four tweets in a thread, but all were deleted within 10 minutes as this story was being written.

I wish I could fully express how grateful I am for @Jack shutting that pig the hell up

CAN YOU IMAGINE the screaming that's going on in the White House right now?

Facebook, GONE.
Instagram, GONE.
Twitter, GONE.

Nothing left but a morbidly obese 74 year old with anger management issues and no outlet.

Parler, I guess, or Tik Tok.

:rofl;:
