The FOX broadcast network seemingly snubbed the president of the United States on Sunday when it cut to commercial while he was speaking.

Viewers complained on Twitter that FOX Sports cut away prior to President Donald Trump’s campaign-style speech at the Daytona 500, where he was named grand marshal.

FOX’s cameras were also criticized for cutting away from Trump’s lap at the Daytona 500 in his presidential limo. Instead, fans were treated to a commercial from Democratic presidential candidate Michael Bloomberg.

Some viewers praised the network for not giving the president’s 2020 campaign additional publicity.

Trump vents over media coverage of his "powerful, under construction, Border Wall" that fell over.

Come on, you've gotta admit...the spectacle of Bill Barr scrambling around for an escape hatch had some entertainment value, in a sick sort of way.

And, for anyone who felt that he hadn't sealed the deal with his four page "summary" of the 400+ page Mueller report, that paved the way for Trump to endlessly crow "TOTAL exoneration, NO collusion, NO obstruction" (even though the Mueller report documented fourteen separate instances of obstruction), hey...he's WORKIN' HERE! Give the boy a break. Or not.

Chuck Todd tried to give him a break yesterday, when he sat with Peggy Noonan and discussed how Barr might be finding his moral compass in all of this. But you know Chuck...what a SCAMP!

When it comes to Barr covering his ass, to paraphrase Amity Island Chief Martin Brody, "He's gonna need a bigger tarp."

Still, it's been all kinds of fun watching him tell ABC News that he "can't do his job" if Trump is tweeting the blow-by-blow.

He can't "do his job"...pleasuring Trump's every impulse and whim...if he can't do it under the cover of darkness.

There's a tragic level of desperation attached to watching him pretend that if it oinks and rolls in the mud, it ain't a pig.
