Rep. Buddy Carter (R-GA) couldn't POSSIBLY be advocating violence against women in these remarks.

‘Somebody needs to snatch a knot in their ass’: GOP rep defends Trump’s attacks on Senate colleagues

Carter was reacting to the latest healthcare vote, where seven GOP senators helped defeat a straight repeal of the Affordable Care Act.

“I think it’s perfectly fair,” Carter said of Trump’s Wednesday morning tweets berating Murkowski.

“Let me tell you, somebody needs to go over there to that Senate and snatch a knot in their ass,” Carter said. “I’m telling you, it has gotten to the point where how can you say I voted for this last year, but I’m not going to vote for it this year.”

“The only thing that’s changed is we’ve got a president who will actually sign that law now, unlike the previous president––Obama––who did not sign the law,” Carter contined. “So it baffles me to think that someone is not in favor of it.”

Dave Brat (R-VA): Mainstream press responsible for Trump attacking Sessions

CNN’s Kate Bolduan nails GOPer: ‘Are you kidding me? The media did not force Trump to attack Jeff Sessions’

“But is the president at fault for making the ‘beleaguered’ attorney general beleaguered?” Bolduan wondered.

“No!” Brat insisted. “The mainstream press has just been relentless. I mean, we see that stats come out this week.”

“No, no, no,” the CNN host interrupted. “No way is the media — as much as I would love more power — there is no way that the media is powerful enough to force a president to talk to the New York Times and say he regrets putting Jeff Sessions in that post, and that Jeff Sessions is weak. The media is not forcing the president to tweet his attacks.”

“I think you did,” Brat replied. “If you’ve got 24/7 coverage and he doesn’t have an A.G. in place to cover the most important issue that the media covers with 90 percent of your coverage. The anchors across the mainstream — you guys, you’re fair to me. I know you’re going to wish me happy birthday today.”

“Don’t try to throw me off with the happy birthday bit,” Bolduan shot back. “Are you kidding me? The media did not force the president to attack Jeff Sessions.”

BREAKING: Scaramucci Bans Shine Boxes from White House Press Briefing Room

No link yet...breaking news.

WASHINGTON DC - A shouting match ensued early Thursday in the White House Press Briefing Room between President Trump's new Comminications Director Anthony Scaramucci and New York Times reporter Glenn Thrush.

Thrush has just asked Scaramucci about rapidly escalating rumors that the President intended to fire both Attorney General Jeff Sessions and Special Counsel Robert Mueller during the August recess, filling the vacancies with recess appointments.

Scaramucci, clearly agitated, replied "GEEZ Glenn, you're breakin' my balls up here."

Thrush snickered and replied "If I was busting your balls, I'd send you home for your shine box."

Scaramucci glared at the reporter as Thrush continued. "You remember Tony's shines? The kid was great. He made mirrors."

Scaramucci threw down his notepad and yelled "No more shines, Glenn."

Thrush continued laughing and looked around the room, savoring the restrained glee on the faces of his fellow reporters. He then told Scaramucci "Come ooonnn. Toneeee. We're only kidding. You can't take a joke? Come ooonn."

Scaramucci appeared to nod in agreement as a faint smile appeared on his face, before Thrush demanded "Now get the hell home and get your shine box."

Scaramucci was restrained by Secret Service agents as he advanced across the room in Thrush's direction with clenched fists. Thrush lowered his pants, turned his back to Scaramucci, and slapped his bare buttocks while making "raspberry" noises. This only angered Scaramucci further.

In a prepared statement following the contentious meeting, Scaramucci wrote "Starting today, shine boxes will no longer be allowed in the White House Briefing Room, nor the mention of shine boxes. Futhermore, all male reporters are required to wear underwear at all times...be it boxers or briefs...and their pants are to remain zipped, buttoned, and belted."

Glenn Thrush could not be reached for comment.

Trump has Zinke call Murkowski to say Alaska projects are in jeopardy after TrumpCare "no" vote

Donald Trump Is Reportedly Seeking Revenge On Alaska Over Health Care Vote
Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska) voted no on GOP efforts to dismantle the Affordable Care Act this week.

The Alaska Dispatch News reported Wednesday night that Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke called Murkowski and fellow Alaskan Sen. Dan Sullivan (R) after Tuesday’s health care vote to let them know her position had put some of their state-specific projects in jeopardy ― particularly those pertaining to energy.

Sullivan told the outlet that Zinke’s phone call carried a “troubling message,” and the interior secretary made it clear to him that the call was in response to Murkowski voting no on the motion to proceed on Tuesday.

She was only one of two Republicans, along with Sen. Susan Collins (Maine), to break from party lines on the vote.

While Murkowski did not respond to Alaska Dispatch News’ requests for comment regarding the phone call, the senator seemed unfazed by the president’s attempts at publicly shaming her.

Trump sends LGBT critic Pete Hoekstra to gay-friendly Netherlands

Trump sends LGBT critic to gay-friendly Netherlands

Pete Hoekstra, an ex-Congressman and member of the conservative Tea Party movement, is President Donald Trump’s pick for ambassador to the Netherlands.

The former representative will need approval from Senate and the Hague - often a formality in ambassadorial nominations - and he will return to work in the country of his birth. The pick may seem an astute one, given Hoekstra’s government experience and ties to the Dutch nation - he was born in the Netherlands, moving to the U.S. at age three, before eventually representing a constituency with a large Dutch-American community including his hometown of Holland Michigan, named for the biggest region in the Netherlands.

Trump has “put a Dutchman in the Netherlands – but it is a Dutchman from the Netherlands of the 50s,” Dutch newspaper De Volkskrant declared after the White House announced the choice of Hoekstra earlier this week.

Hoekstra’s right-wing sensibilities, supporting the death penalty, arguing refugees are a threat to Europe, opposing gay marriage and repeatedly voting in Congress to limit women’s right to abortion, are likely to be a source of controversy in the liberal lowlands of northern Europe.

The Mooch is a real wordsmith. WH staff's job is apparently to "inject" Trump "into America."

Scaramucci then said that, when it comes to leaks, “the fish stinks from the head down.” Despite this, however, he said that President Donald Trump was not responsible for any of the leaks that occur from within the White House.

“I can tell you two fish that don’t stink,” he told Cuomo. “And that’s me and the president.”

Scaramucci later in the interview called out members of the White House who purportedly felt that it was their job to “save America from this president.”

“That is not their job,” he said. “Their job is to inject this president into America.”

The Mooch was right. The biggest problem with the WH daily briefings was the lack of a curling iron.

“For Sarah Huckabee, I want to do everything I can to make her better at that podium. I think she’s phenomenal there now. But like every athlete that is training for the Olympics, every day we have to make ourselves incrementally better,” Scaramucci said. “The only thing I ask Sarah — Sarah, if you’re watching, I loved the hair and makeup person we had on Friday, so I’d like to continue to use the hair and makeup person.”
