Rick Wilson calls for impeachment of "gigantic sh*t golem animated into a husky-sized suit"

The outspoken Trump critic described the president as a “gigantic sh*t golem animated into a husky-sized suit” in a hilariously profane rant calling for his impeachment in a new column for The Daily Beast.

“It’s not simply that Trump richly deserves to be impeached for corruptions large and small, obstructing justice, lavish self-dealing to promote his mid-tier faux-luxury golf resorts and hotels, misuse of government office, abuse of executive powers, rampant cruelty, dickishness, necromancy (have you seen Steve Bannon lately?), and lying to the American people,” Wilson wrote. “Those are givens.”

“F*ck it,” Wilson wrote. “Let’s roll.”

Trump: As far as I'm concerned, Nancy Pelosi is no longer Speaker of the House

Just now, during his press conference.

It's IN THERE. He LEANED on the president of Ukraine. IT'S...IN...THERE.

Trump's camp is spinning it as "nothing to see here, folks."

And Trump is just...fucking...LEANING on him.

He mentions Barr, Giuliani, "I'd appreciate whatever you can do..."

What part of IT'S IN THERE does not "validate the argument?"

Bwahaha! Rachel Maddow just asked Andrew Yang how he'd feel about running against Pence.

She was laughing and said something like "I'm not saying he's going to be removed from office, but things are happening awfully fast." She then asked him if he'd rather run against Trump or Pence. He said Pence, because it would make him feel good to know Trump was gone.

During presser w/ his bro Boris, Trump offers a calm, lucid explanation of the Ukraine matter.

During a brief press conference at the United Nations with British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, Trump was asked why he cut off aid to Ukraine.

“Why is the United States the only one paying to Ukraine?” the U.S. president complained. “Why isn’t Germany, why isn’t France? Why aren’t these countries paying? Why are we paying all the time? No one has given more to Ukraine. President Obama used to send pillows and sheets. I send anti-tank weapons.”

“Why is it always the United States that’s paying? I made that loud and clear. I told that the Mick Mulvaney, I told to a lot of people,” the president continued. “I told it to a lot of different people. I told it to Mike, two Mikes. I it told to Steve. I keep asking Wilbur Ross.”

Trump ranted on: “I said, hold it up, let’s get other people to pay, and then everybody called me, ‘Oh please, can we pay?’ — and they said — and there was never any quid pro quo, the letter was beautiful, it was a perfect letter, unlike Biden.”

Trump concluded by insisting “there was no pressure applied, no nothing” to Ukraine.

White House preparing to release whistleblower complaint to Congress

White House preparing to release whistleblower complaint to Congress

https://www.politico.com/story/2019/09/24/white-house-whistleblower-complaint-release-1510341

The White House is preparing to release to Congress by the end of the week both the whistleblower complaint and the Inspector General report that are at the center of House Democrats’ impeachment inquiry, according to a senior administration official, reversing its position after withholding the documents from lawmakers.

The move shows the level of seriousness with which the administration is now approaching the House‘s new impeachment proceedings, even as President Donald Trump publicly tries to minimize the inquiry as a “witch hunt” or “presidential harassment,” or a move that will help him win his 2020 reelection campaign.

The administration official stressed the decision and timing could change over the next few days, but as of Tuesday evening the White House was planning to hand over the documents to lawmakers on Capitol Hill. The president has agreed to this move, the official added.

A White House spokesman did not respond to a request for comment.

Why the HELL does Ari Melber give a RAT'S ASS over who is "happy" or "sad" about today?

One of his guests said she was happy that we "finally got there" and he said something like "So...many people have said that they are SAD about this, but YOU are telling me that you're HAPPY, is that right?"

He also had David Corn on a roll, and interrupted him, and now he's talking to Corn about Talking Heads.

Not my favorite MSNBC personality. He has a few traits that remind me of Tweety.

NOW we know why Nancy Pelosi smiled when asked about her Tuesday phone call with Trump...

She was on MSNBC earlier today, interviewed by The Atlantic, and was asked how the call went. She just smiled, without revealing any details.

President Donald Trump sought to work something out with Speaker Nancy Pelosi during a Tuesday phone call, but she reportedly shot the offer down.

The phone call was reported by NBC News correspondent Heidi Przybyla on “The Beat” with Ari Melber.

“I got a readout on that. That the president actually said to Nancy Pelosi, ‘Hey, can we do something about this whistleblower complaint? Can we work something out?’ And she said, ‘Yes, you can tell your people to obey the law.’ So she quickly swatted that down and made it clear that it is full steam ahead,” Przybyla reported.
