For the past few years, Que J. Fullmer has split his time between Kansas and Colorado. He owns a cattle company and roughly 1,000 acres in Syracuse, Kansas, and his wife lives in Brighton, Colorado, where the couple owns a home and 300 acres.
In November 2016, Fullmer cast ballots in both states. He figured that because he pays taxes in both places, he was entitled to have his voice heard in local and state races in two states. He only voted for president, Donald Trump, in Kansas.
Now he is facing four felony charges — two counts of voting without being qualified, one count of voting more than once, and one count of “advance voting unlawful acts.” If convicted of all of them, Fullmer faces steep fines and two years probation.

Are you a legal resident of the state you are voting in, you cannot vote in two state elections, you have to claim residency in one state or the other, even if you have two homes in two different states, you must live 181 days in the place of residency to claim residency.
But not you---------------you go on your traitor spree, and without preventing a crime you just go and convict.

Rohrabacher: Jeff Sessions Betrays The People Who Have Had Faith In Him

Rep. Dana Rohrabacher (R-CA) said Friday that President Donald Trump “has a legitimate right to say that he was betrayed” by Attorney General Jeff Sessions due to Sessions’ recusal from matters relating to Russia, which in turn led to the appointment of special counsel Robert Mueller.
“The American people, now, are getting a taste of what people in Washington have known over this last year, and that is Jeff Sessions betrays the people who have had faith in him,” Rohrabacher told CNN’s Ana Cabrera in an interview.
The New York Times reported Thursday, citing two unnamed people’s knowledge of the episode, that Trump ordered White House Counsel Don McGahn to lobby Sessions not to recuse himself.
“When he recused himself from this whole Russia thing,” Rohrabacher said of Sessions, “he knew he was setting in motion the establishment of a special prosecutor. And a special prosecutor, as happens in Washington, we understand, is just giving unlimited power to someone to go after you, and not just you but to go after anybody they want to go after.”

Moores Campaign Manager Is Running Against Incumbent Rep In GOP Primary

Rich Hobson, who managed embattled Republican Senate candidate Roy Moores campaign, is planning to announce a congressional bid of his own.
With intentions of running against Rep. Martha Roby (R-AL) in the states Republican primary, Hobson confirmed to CNN on Wednesday that hes diving into the race to do whats best for Alabama and the USA, not because he has beef with Roby.
The Republican incumbent did not defend Moore when multiple women came forward alleging the former state Chief Justice pursued relationships or made inappropriate sexual advances toward them when they were teens and he was in his 30s, CNN reported. Roby has also publicly said she did not vote for President Trump and criticized him when the Access Hollywood tape came out in the 11th-hour of the 2016 election.

New Study: Facebook Most Important In Spreading Fake News

Facebook is “the most important mechanism facilitating the spread of fake news” and its efforts to curb the spread of fake news through fact-checking are unlikely to succeed, according to a new study.
The 2016 election saw the rise of fake news websites which distributed fabricated information packaged to appear as legitimate news articles. The study, released last week by the political scientists Andrew Guess, Brendan Nyhan, and Jason Reifler, examined web traffic data collected from the computers of a national sample of Americans from October 7-November 14, 2016 — a period which includes the final weeks of the 2016 presidential campaign — in order to map who consumed fake news and which platforms helped spread it.
The political scientists estimated that more than a quarter of American adults visited a page on a pro-Donald Trump or pro-Hillary Clinton fake news website. Most of the fake news was pro-Trump, and people who supported his campaign were significantly more likely to visit fake news sites than people who supported Clinton.

Revamping America’s infrastructure is at the top of President Donald Trump’s agenda for 2018, and he is expected to detail his $1 trillion plan to address the nation’s crumbling roads, bridges and airports this month.
According to what has been heard from the White House so far, it appears the effort will focus mostly on deregulation and privatization of America’s infrastructure—not actual construction of new roads and bridges.
“The biggest single thing we can do for infrastructure in this country is we can shorten and improve the approval process,” said the director of the White House National Economic Council, Gary Cohn, who will brief Trump on the plan Wednesday. “We can streamline the approval process from years to weeks and months, and if we do that there is money.”
Sources told Politico that Trump will split the infrastructure bill into three sections: streamlining bureaucracy, increasing funding and ending the agency review process. He would like to allocate $200 billion for infrastructure projects over the next decade, Politico reported, and expects the rest of the money to come from private-public partnerships and state and local funding.

I don't know about you, but we the taxpayers own the roads, and other publicly funded buildings, airports, etc....... in some shape and fashion, and I really don't appreciate, that infrastructure should be turned in how stadiums are paid for using public dollars to make some asshole, hedge fund manager , or some sovereign fund rich investment rich---------------------

Legal Footnote: You Have to Look Hard to See the Supreme Court Correct Its Mistakes
Rulings by the U.S. Supreme Court often come with great anticipation and attention, even true drama. Anxious crowds gather outside the court at dawn. Opinions first go out on paper to the waiting hands of television news interns, who sprint the documents to correspondents to be immediately deciphered on the air. Justices later announce their decisions in open court, and occasionally read aloud the opinions.
But when the court fixes mistakes in its opinions, it does so very quietly. No press releases. No public reading of corrections. For most of the court’s history, the justices have only signaled their fixes and edits by adding the word “modified” in small type to newly issued print and digital versions of the opinions.
The changes thus have proved hard to find — not just for the general public, but for lawyers and judges and scholars of the law.
Gabe Roth, executive director of Fix the Court, an advocacy group pushing for judicial transparency, thinks that’s a problem.

Rick Hall, legendary Muscle Shoals record producer, dies aged 85

Alabama record producer Rick Hall, who recorded some of the biggest musical acts of the 1960s and 70s and helped develop the fabled “Muscle Shoals sound”, has died.
Hall died at his home on Tuesday following a fight with cancer, said longtime friend Judy Hood. He was 85.
Hall founded Fame Recording Studios in north-western Alabama in 1959 and went on to record major acts including R&B stars Aretha Franklin and Wilson Pickett. Hall also recorded country artists including George Jones and Brenda Lee and produced pop acts including Paul Anka and the Osmonds.
A new generation of listeners knows Hall through the 2013 documentary Muscle Shoals. The movie tells the story of Hall, the region’s musicians and their distinctive, soulful sound featuring heavy bass, guitar and electronic organ or piano.
