The Department of Agriculture has suppressed over 1,400 studies on climate change as part of the Trump administration's broad anti-science agenda.
The Trump administration has systematically suppressed and minimized the results of over 1,400 studies related to climate change at the Department of Agriculture, according to new information released Thursday by Sen. Debbie Stabenow (D-MI).
"The trove of studies by USDA researchers carry warnings about climate change that the government is largely not communicating to farmers and ranchers or the public," Politico reported. "The list published includes research showing that climate change is likely to drive down yields for some crops, harm milk production, and lead to a drop in nutrient density for key crops like rice and wheat."
Stabenow, ranking member of the Senate's Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry, held a press conference Thursday to discuss the findings.
"These studies show how climate change is affecting crop production, disrupting how food is grown and increasing risk to communities," she said.

Pelosi warns Trump 'stepping into a dangerous minefield' if Ukraine allegations are true

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi warned President Donald Trump was stepping into a dangerous minefield if he had offered U.S. military aid to Ukraine in exchange for damaging information about Joe Biden.
The California Democrat said the administration was violating federal law by blocking a whistleblower complaint against the president from congressional review, and she said Trump and his acting director of national intelligence must end their stonewalling.
If the President has done what has been alleged, he is stepping into a dangerous minefield with serious repercussions for his Administration and our democracy, Pelosi said.
She pledged to continue investigating the whistleblowers claims, and she urged Republicans to uphold the law.

He doesn't care if he broke the law.......................he has done this over 12,000+ times with his lies, he has done this at every part of the investigations being thrown at him, he doesn't care..................the republican don't care.......................they don't give a shit about the laws and the Constitution.................

WATCH: 16-year-old Greta Thunberg rebukes GOPer who thinks other countries must solve climate change

Greta Thunberg, a 16-year-old Swedish climate activist, faced off with members of Congress on Wednesday.
In a hearing before the House Select Committee on the Climate Crisis, Thunberg declined to submit a written opening statement.
I dont want you to listen to me, I want you to listen to the scientists and I want you to unite behind the science, she said.
Republican Rep. Garret Graves of Louisiana tried to make the point that the U.S. should not curb its carbon emissions until other countries agreed to do so.
Let me ask you a question, Graves said. If you were sailing across the ocean and you were picking up trash along the way and for every one piece of trash you pick up, theres a boat right next to you dumping out five pieces, how would that make you feel?
https://www.rawstory.com/2019/09/watch-16-year-old-greta-thunberg-rebukes-goper-who-thinks-other-countries-must-solve-climate-change/
-snip-
If you use that logic, Thunberg replied, I am also dumping a lot of trash in the ocean. I would stop dumping my trash in the ocean and then tell the other boat to stop dumping their trash in the ocean as well.
But it wasnt clear if Graves understood Thunbergs remarks.
Thats the important point here, the lawmaker said. I think we need to be focusing on the countries that are dumping trash in the ocean. Of course thats a metaphor.
Hey Greta.........................you have more common sense than a idiot asking you about trash.............and it went right over that head of a pinhead, that has gotten thousands from the oil and gas that has made the Gulf a dead zone in some areas, you should have asked him if he would eat the crabs near the Horizon oil explosion that are trying to mate...............they have sores all over there shells.........................
Today is Constituion Day .................
And yes I will go down that rabbit hole,
The country has an asshole that has violated everything when it comes to the Constitution and to add insult to injury the country has a AG and the speaker of the senate that basically has said FUCK YOU to the Constitution............................and breaking every law under the sun...................and the media is failing in there job description to challenge the asshole's and say why are you lying................and not saying it on the front page..........................
UAW is on strike, and a company that made over 12 billion doesn't want to give back the give backs that the employees gave up to help keep them afloat.
Then there is in country Saudi Arabia that is dictating with help from a "guy" sitting in the white house that wants to go to war, because he said we have the money and the missiles, just so that he can.
And the country has Two, not ONE but TWO assholes sitting on the US. Supreme Court that have no business being there, becasue the country has a party that is just as criminal as the "guy" sitting in the white house.
And now the Federalist Society is packing the courts with a people that have no business being in law, being enabled by the corrupt speaker of the senate and from a senator for example from Maine and others (senators) that is just as much as a hypocrite as the ones that voted in a person(s) that lied under oath.
Then there is the gun violence and a drug maker that was basically a high price drug pusher filing for bankruptcy.....................so how is your day going............under the Constitution Day September 17, 2019...................

(Reuters) - A unit of JPMorgan Chase & Co (JPM.N) was fined $1.1 million by a U.S. regulator on Monday for being too slow to disclose 89 internal reviews or allegations of misconduct by financial advisers and other employees over six years.
The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) said the alleged misconduct at JPMorgan Securities LLC included misappropriating customer funds, borrowing from customers, forging and altering documents, unauthorized trading and other activities. It said that when JPMorgan filed the required information with FINRA, it was on average more than two years late.
FINRA said JPMorgans disclosure shortfalls occurred from January 2012 to April 2018. JPMorgan did not admit or deny wrongdoing in agreeing to settle.

Mobile home dwellers left behind after 2013 Colorado floods
By MICHAEL dE YOANNA today
GREELEY, Colorado (AP) When the flood waters in 2013 subsided, tens of thousands of evacuees along Colorados Front Range returned to see what happened to their homes. One of them was Amanda Anderson.
All of it was just mud, Anderson said. It was so dark in there because of the mud. It was like walking into a horror movie because it used to be so bright.
Her mobile home was trashed after the torrential September rains sent water crashing over the banks of the North and South St. Vrain creeks. Water rose at the confluence, flooding low-lying homes across the small mountain town north of Boulder.
Some homeowners returned, but that was never an option for Anderson and her neighbors at Riverbend Mobile Home Park. Their chances of a comeback were diminished before the first drop of rain hit the ground, according to Andrew Rumbach, an associate professor of urban and regional planning who studies mobile homes and natural disasters at the University of Colorado-Denver.

Mobile home parks move from mom-and-pop to corporate
By JENNIFER BROWN and KEVIN SIMPSON 2 hours ago
DENVER (AP) In the Aurora mobile home park where she lived for 16 years, eviction notices kept coming to Petra Bennetts door -- for unauthorized guests, lack of insurance, late rent. They were bogus threats to make the single mother leave. And eventually, she did.
In Federal Heights, Karla Lyons waitressing wages are eaten up by a constant stream of home and yard repairs ordered by her park manager, including removal of a giant maple tree that fell on her patio roof and crushed it. She would move if she could afford it.
And in Boulder, Greg Gustin carries a knife in the pocket of his jeans while on duty as manager of a 1950s-era mobile home park that is one of the sketchiest spots in town. When a resident was accused of strangling his wife last year and leaving her to die in the managers officer, Gustin pulled surveillance video to defend himself to police.
Across Colorado, where the housing crisis impacts both rural and urban towns, the strife between mobile home park residents and park owners is approaching a boiling point. The business model -- in which homeowners pay lot rent to park their houses on someone elses land -- exposes the immobility and economic vulnerability of tenants who cant afford to move or live anywhere else.

Thieves steal $5 million gold toilet from Britain's Blenheim Palace
World News
September 14, 2019 / 11:13 AM / Updated 4 hours ago
LONDON (Reuters) - Burglars have stolen a fully-functional 18-carat gold toilet from Britains Blenheim Palace, where it had been installed as an art exhibit, police said on Saturday.
The toilet, valued at more than $5 million, was part of an exhibition of work by Italian conceptual artist Maurizio Cattelan which opened two days ago at the stately home 60 miles west of London, a major tourist attraction.
The toilet, named America, was previously on display in a cubicle at New Yorks Guggenheim Museum, where more than 100,000 visitors were able to use it.
Thieves with at least two vehicles broke into the palace, the birthplace of World War Two leader Winston Churchill, and removed the toilet some time before 5 a.m. (0400 GMT), Thames Valley Police said.
