'We're the rule of law team': Speaker Johnson hints at 'official' Biden impeachment

House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) suggested on Sunday that he would push his party to move forward with an "official" impeachment of President Joe Biden.
"Will an impeachment inquiry turn into an official impeachment?" Fox News host Maria Bartiromo asked Johnson on Sunday.
"We'll see, Maria, you know, I worked on the committees of jurisdiction, a judiciary is one of those. I think our chairmen have done an exceptional job."

Conservative warns Speaker Johnson 'is not a run-of-the-mill Trump toady'

In a scathing column for MSNBC, longtime conservative Charlie Sykes warned that newly elected Speaker Michael Johnson (R-LA) should not be underestimated when it comes to being a Donald Trump supplicant.
According to Sykes, Johnson may have occupied his seat in the House in total obscurity until recently, but he has been a key player in Trump's attempts to take back power and there is no reason to think Johnson won't use his new position of power to further those goals.
After lamenting the demise of what he called the last of the GOP House moderates who ended up throwing in the towel and voting for the extremist Johnson as their new leader, Sykes labeled the new speaker as "not a run-of-the-mill Trump toady."

Two things come to mind......
1) Has Smith been told by Meadows if he flipped , that any of the 147 congressional supporting traitors and 8 senators where in on any calls with that orange hair puss bucket in December 2020 phone calls and text messages and if this insurrections supporter was in on any that shit.....because it sure does seem like it if he was filing lawsuits.....
2) If this hypocrite is such a "god" fearing twit to his fucking wizard in the sky.....doesn't it say in that book that has caused more deaths than any other book.....not your not suppose to lie....

In the 1950s, after quarreling for decades over the Colorado River, Arizona, and California turned to the U.S. Supreme Court for a final resolution on the water that both states sought to sustain their postwar booms.
The case, Arizona v. California, also offered Native American tribes a rare opportunity to claim their share of the river. But they were forced to rely on the U.S. Department of Justice for legal representation.
A lawyer named T.F. Neighbors, who was special assistant to the U.S. attorney general, foresaw the likely outcome if the federal government failed to assert tribes’ claims to the river: States would consume the water and block tribes from ever acquiring their full share.

In June, a majority of Supreme Court justices accepted the federal government’s argument that Congress, not the courts, should resolve the Navajo Nation’s lingering water rights. In his dissenting opinion, Gorsuch wrote, “The government’s constant refrain is that the Navajo can have all they ask for; they just need to go somewhere else and do something else first.” At this point, he added, “the Navajo have tried it all.”
As a result, a third of homes on the Navajo Nation still don’t have access to clean water, which has led to costly water hauling and, according to the Navajo Nation, has increased tribal members’ risk of infection during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Supreme Court and there states rights BS....this shows the inherit racism of this court has against another human being....Hey Gorsuch did you have a sit down with the others and say look.....everyone needs water and after all they were here first......

The Morning Joe panel regulars aren't mincing words. Mike Johnson is Trump's guy, and House Republicans are making plans to steal the 2024 election.
"Why do you think Trump fought Emmer so much? He didn't go along with the lie, the conspiracy. Yeah, these things are decided in the House, Willie," Joe Scarborough said.
"Donald Trump has his guy. He has the anti-democracy guy in the speaker's chair. I saw some press conference, a clip where a reporter asked a question and everybody started screaming. I almost said a word I've said on this air a couple of times. I'll just say, what fools. Who do they think we are? Do they think Americans are that stupid? They're all election deniers up there. They're mad at the press for bringing up the fact that Donald Trump now has his tool to move us towards an autocratic state, where democratic elections don't matter.

If you ask me, extremist Pastor Jack Hibbs revealed more about himself than public schools in his sexualized rant against them. “We are going to take on the great trending issue of how to mentally molest your children in the public school system,” he said. Great trending issue? Really? Maybe in your mind, buddy.
But wait, there’s more. That supposed mental molestation of children sets them up for “actual physical molestation,” Hibbs claimed. Apparently, it’s all part of a plan “to get them to think it’s OK to go through the horrific abuse of rape in the name of education.”
This guy seems to have an obsession with schools. You may recall that last year, he blamed the horrific Uvalde school shooting on the teaching of evolution. He complained that evolution teaches kids that “you’re nothing but an animal.” According to Hibbs, that’s why the shooter “conducted himself like an animal.” He also griped that lawmakers should be “unpacking” the shooter’s family dynamics “instead of this issue of the Second Amendment.”
