Obama dares Republicans:Give me better health plan and 'I will publicly support repealing Obamacare

Source: CNBC

"I am saying to every Republican right now, if you can in fact put a plan together that is demonstrably better than what is Obamacare, I will publicly support repealing Obamacare" and replacing it with the GOP's plan, Obama told Vox during a livestreamed interview from Washington, DC.

"But I want to see it first."

"If they're so convinced that they're going to be able to do it better, why is it they're trying to repeal this so quick?" Obama asked. "What is it they're afraid of?"

"Why wouldn't they be eager to say, 'Here is our plan'?"

Former CIA director James Woolsey has split with Trump, 'effective immediately'

Source: Business Insider

Former CIA director James Woolsey will no longer serve as a senior adviser to President-elect Donald Trump, Woolsey's spokesman said in a statement provided to reporters on Thursday.

"Effective immediately, Ambassador Woolsey is no longer a Senior Adviser to President-elect Trump or the transition," Woolsey's spokesman, Jonathan Franks, wrote in a statement that was first reported by CNN's Jeremy Diamond. "He wishes the President-elect and his Administration great success in their time in office."

Woolsey resigned after being cut out of intelligence talks with Trump and his national security adviser, retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, The Washington Post's Philip Rucker reported.

KGOP is about to OWN health care.

Austan Goolsbees remarks regarding Obamacare repeal tonight on AC 360 (paraphrased):

As soon as the KGOP repeals it, changes it or replaces it they are going to OWN it.

Then increases in costs, currently at their lowest levels of increase in the last 50 years, are going to continue to rise and will likely rise even faster.

Any additional costs and other problems will be immediately felt by the voters and squarely laid at the KGOP doorstep.

It's easy to take it away but it will be hard to replace it and replacing it will be expensive.

In short, they are the proverbial dog that caught the bus.

Soros: Trump is a "con artist and would-be dictator"

"Democracy is now in crisis. Even the US, the world’s leading democracy, elected a con artist and would-be dictator as its president. Although Trump has toned down his rhetoric since he was elected, he has changed neither his behavior nor his advisers. His cabinet comprises incompetent extremists and retired generals."

"But the US will be preoccupied with internal struggles in the near future, and targeted minorities will suffer. The US will be unable to protect and promote democracy in the rest of the world. On the contrary, Trump will have greater affinity with dictators. That will allow some of them to reach an accommodation with the US, and others to carry on without interference. Trump will prefer making deals to defending principles. Unfortunately, that will be popular with his core constituency."

Trump pick backs out of White House job after affair allegations

Source: Politico

Donald Trump’s newly tapped White House communications director, Jason Miller, backed out of the job following claims that he had an affair with another transition official, according to three sources close to the Trump transition.

Two days after his appointment as communications director was announced, Miller told POLITICO on Christmas Eve that he was stepping down because the White House job would be too demanding at a time when he needed to devote attention to his family. He and his wife are expecting their second child next month.

Newt Gingrich Admits Donald Trump Does Not Yet Have A Plan To Beat ISIS

Source: The Huffington Post

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich conceded that President-elect Donald Trump does not yet have a plan for defeating the Islamic State militant group.

“I don’t think they have a strategy,” Gingrich told “Fox News Sunday” host Chris Wallace. “I think that what they know, which is important, is that they are gonna need a strategy.”

Gingrich, an informal adviser to the president-elect, went on to express confidence that Trump’s general-heavy roster of security advisers and cabinet members would develop a strong approach to fighting the terror group.

“They are going to be able to produce a very aggressive strategy. They have a much better grip on reality than the Obama administration did,” he added.

That's no surprise to anyone with a brain and this isn't a surprise either:

Gingrich then suggested the United States should consider suspending civil liberties to combat terrorism as former President Abraham Lincoln did during the Civil War.

The bastard doesn't even see the need for a Reichstag fire. These fuckers are dangerous beyond belief.

Amazon Reviewers Are Trolling Ivanka Trump, But That Won't Decide Her Brand's Fate

Reviews of the Ivanka Trump Women's Issa boots, which tout a list price of $180, included this: "These boots were perfect for wiping my feet on the Constitution and trampling the civil liberties and basic human rights of my fellow Americans," wrote a user named Susan Harper. "The spike heel is ideal for grinding democracy into the ground, or simply kicking the downtrodden as you stride past."

Amazon user AR called them "two extremely right boots" in her one star review and added that the "sizing and all other info is in Russian, but they are made in China."
