I believe I can surmise the Clinton general election strategy

...and it most definitely does not include Berniecrats in her coalition.

Through her wholesale theft of this primary election, Hillary will stomp her way into the nomination. Along the way, Berniecrats are going to complain, as they did in Nevada. The image she will portray is one of a brutal reactionary against the people she and her minions are painting as domestic terrorists.

She wants to enhance her Thatcherite image and appeal to the authoritarians, the fascists, the establishment.

Berniecrats are going to make a lot of noise in Philadelphia, we will be brutally treated and shut out. She will use that to burnish her image. Count on it.

Here's how Facebook is f'ing with you

So on my feed I get posts from Cenk. And he posts an article from Salon titled...

This is one weak nominee: Hillary Clinton’s problem isn’t Bernie Sanders. It’s Hillary Clinton

The current layout of Facebook is that when you see a post from someone to whom you subscribe, below it you will see a "People also shared", which is the same as the Amazon, "May we suggest" below a product description.

Below the article from Salon, Facebook determined it would be good for me to click on the following three links:

PEOPLE ALSO SHARED

Reporters gasp in outrage that Hillary Clinton dares raise her voice, don't notice men shouting
Apparently it’s sexism week in coverage of the Democratic presidential primary. Ha, just kidding: Like there’s only one week when sexism rules coverage of anything Hillary Clinton is involved in. And

This may shock you: Hillary Clinton is fundamentally honest | Jill Abramson
I’ve investigated Hillary and know she likes a ‘zone of privacy’ around her. This lack of transparency, rather than any actual corruption, is her greatest flaw

The arc of the universe bends towards justice. Remember this guy?

Well his father is a giy who owns about 140 buildings in NY city. He is known as the worst landlord in NY. Guess where daddy is now...

That's right, his new title is Defendant...

Notorious landlord Steve Croman was hit Monday with a 20-count indictment and a civil suit related to his long-running campaign to harass rent-stabilized tenants into fleeing so he can jack up the rent.

Croman, who owns 140 apartment buildings across Manhattan, has long been the target of a criminal probe by state Attorney General Eric Schneiderman.

Democratic party insists on maintaining suicide pact with Republican party

Barney Fucking Frank has been named chair of the rules committee. A fucking banker will be writing the party platform.

At one time I had hoped the party could be reformed from within, but by 2018 I expect the Sanders movement to have established a third party, of which I will become a member.

SURPRISE! The painkiller epidemic is rooted in corporate greed!

Who woulda thought?!!

‘YOU WANT A DESCRIPTION OF HELL?’ OXYCONTIN’S 12-HOUR PROBLEM

by HARRIET RYAN, LISA GIRION AND SCOTT GLOVER

MAY 5, 2015

The drugmaker Purdue Pharma launched OxyContin two decades ago with a bold marketing claim: One dose relieves pain for 12 hours, more than twice as long as generic medications.

Patients would no longer have to wake up in the middle of the night to take their pills, Purdue told doctors. One OxyContin tablet in the morning and one before bed would provide “smooth and sustained pain control all day and all night.”
...
But OxyContin’s stunning success masked a fundamental problem: The drug wears off hours early in many people, a Los Angeles Times investigation found. OxyContin is a chemical cousin of heroin, and when it doesn’t last, patients can experience excruciating symptoms of withdrawal, including an intense craving for the drug.

The problem offers new insight into why so many people have become addicted to OxyContin, one of the most abused pharmaceuticals in U.S. history.

Please read this great investigative piece on how a pharma corporation has created a national epidemic in order to protect its profits. This shit has got to stop.

New book by NYTimes columnist sheds light on Clinton's role in middle east peace process

http://www.haaretz.com/israel-news/.premium-1.717746

A few days before the speech, White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emmanuel told Clinton that he was concerned that Obama’s not visiting Israel after his Cairo speech would insult the Israelis. He suggested that Clinton, who had been in Cairo with Obama, continue on from Cairo to Jerusalem “to do damage control.” Landler quoted a former senior administration official as saying “she couldn’t, wouldn’t and didn’t.”

Obama’s senior advisers were furious, viewing the secretary’s decision as based on personal political considerations motivated by her desire to avoid harming her image as a friend of Israel and her relationship to the American Jewish community, Landler writes. According to the book, Clinton’s refusal to go to Jerusalem after Cairo was one example of her clear disinclination to be involved in the Israeli-Palestinian peace process due to concern over political damage that would hurt her in a future run for the presidency.

A week later, Clinton spoke out sharply against the settlements and said that Obama was demanding a complete freeze. But while Clinton was speaking, talks were underway between Mitchell and representatives of the Israeli government toward a deal that would allow for construction within the large settlement blocs to accommodate natural growth only. According to the book, Clinton’s statements sabotaged those talks. The Israelis were livid and Obama’s advisers were irritated that Clinton had “plussed up” Obama’s position – corralling them into a more hardline position than they had wanted to take.

I have watched CNN for the past 30 minutes

and they have yet to mention Bernie Sanders. Switching to Fox. No matter how much they f*&k with our minds, we will not be deterred.

Let us celebrate another victory, Berniecrats!

May 2, 2016

Berniecrats: It is a day to rejoice and look forward to making history

I listened to Bernie spell out the road to victory in his press conference. I have assessed all the pros and cons of each candidate. And today I have witnessed a veritable tsunami of nonsense of such preposterous proportions, that I sense victory is at hand. There are indeed corporate lobbyists who are superdelegates. Of course, their support for their candidate will not waver. But the career politicians who have a future to think about, well of course they will do the right thing.

This is why at DU today it is raining poop.

Take heart in that fact, the fact that a desperate establishment is gripping onto the levers of power as tightly as it can, and let us get prepared to contest this convention on the power of ideas, and fueled by the passion of a political revolution.

They are not going to be able to hold on for much longer.
