According to Bernie, voters in the Deep South don't matter because ...?

I didn't quite understand his argument.

Is he saying they are from conservative states that are unlikely to go blue in the GE? In which case what about Idaho, Utah etc?

LA Times: Sanders' supporters are lashing out

http://www.latimes.com/nation/politics/la-na-bernie-sanders-supporters-20160415-story.html

Sanders supporters are known to be a spirited bunch. But as their frustration mounts over their candidate’s failure to significantly cut into Clinton’s lead, no small number of them are lashing out in ways that are not particularly helpful to his campaign.

The hostility from some Sanders backers reflects a very different tone than what supporters projected a year ago at Sanders’ first large rally in Vermont, a lakeside park affair that resembled a peace festival.

His increasingly hostile tone can be a combustible mix with a group of supporters who, in many cases, are new to the mechanics of party politics, delegate lobbying and campaign messaging.

“These people are worried someone is going to come to their house,” said Bob Mulholland, a Democratic political operative in California who supports Clinton and recently wrote an open letter to the Sanders campaign accusing it of fanning the flames of harassment. “They have been put on a ‘hit list.’”

I got to shake Hillary's hands tonight!

So very happy!

She dropped by the debate watch party. Seemed full of energy despite being up on stage all night.

Philosophical question: if socialists believe in investing in the social net, do they overpay taxes?

Given it's tax time.

Socialists believe in strengthening the social net and that tax rates should go up to fund this. So do socialists kick a bit extra to the government each year e.g. decide not to take deductions or exemptions?

Why do Bernie supporter like to use such impolite and ugly language?

It seems that they are generally angrier and more strident.

I was brought up to use only civil language in discourse.

I've been going to the same church for years. I've never been invited to the AGM as I'm not a member

I feel disenfranchised that I cannot vote on any of the resolutions that could impact me such as budget and senior leadership issues.

The membership process requires me to go through a membership course and interview which is more commitment than I have.

What should I do?

Photographic evidence of Nurses for Bernie's crimes against subway entrances!!!

http://www1.nyc.gov/assets/dsny/about/laws/posting-and-graffiti-laws.shtml

It is illegal for any person to affix or attach any sticker or decal on a public or private building or structure. There is a rebuttable presumption that the person whose name, telephone number, or any other identifying information appears on any sticker or decal is in violation. Every sticker or decal shall be deemed a separate violation. Anyone found to have violated this provision, in addition to any penalty imposed, shall also be responsible for the cost of the removal of the unauthorized sticker or decal.

Fine: $150–$500

I've noticed quite a few already.

Cool...we can make them pay $150 - 500 per violation since their logo is clearly included. Let me report to the NYPD. I know people who work in City Hall as well. We should also alert the media to get citizens involved to track down each separate violation.

Nurses for Bernie is committing grafitti at New York subways entrances (the green entrances)

Anyone else noticed that? I'll post a picture when I can. It seems pervasive and all over.
