NRA Good Guy With a Gun mantra debunked in Texas (sad story)

The “good guy with a gun” mantra is a popular one among conservatives who claim tragedies could be averted if only the victims or a concerned citizen had been packing. Again and again, these NRA and right-wing talking points are disproven, and yet another case, this time out of Texas, shows us why.

Two men in the Houston, Texas were in the process of stealing an unarmed man’s truck at a gas station when a would-be hero rushed in to save the day. He drew his weapon and began firing. However, he missed his mark. Instead of hitting the car jackers, the gunman hit the victim in the head.

Great "good guy's" story

‘You ain’t nothing to me, n****r': Black farmer threatened with lynching after dispute over a cow

A black farmer, his Native-American wife and their children have become the targets of threats by racists in his community after his white neighbors complained that he stole a cow from them, reports KTVU.

Daniel Cummins and his wife, Ashley Hathaway have worked their farm in tiny Clearlake, Ca. since 2009 without incident, but a recent dispute with neighboring farmers over a who owned a recently born calf escalated into harassment from the neighbor’s nephew and white supremacists vowing to “bury” his children.

Read more here. So proud to be a white person with people like this.

Also, racism related, Tucker Carlson is still a cocksucker]. In a related store, water is still wet.

Arkansas Republican says he’ll shoot you if you ask him about his job in public

A Republican state senator from Arkansas boasted on Twitter that he is prepared to shoot to kill if people do not approach him with proper amount of respect as he goes about his daily business.

According to the Arkansas Times blog, Sen. Jason Rapert was out at Lowe’s hardware recently when constituent Lance White approached him to ask a question about public policy.

“Wow! I introduce my self kindly to my state legislator at Lowe’s last night. I then ask him a complicated question regarding government/law, to which I legitimately wanted and answer,” wrote White on Facebook Sunday morning.

How do these fuckers get votes?

Ben Carson: “As President I Will Create A Biblical Sin-Based Tax Program”

“In the recent Republican presidential debate, retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson said he would base a new tax system on the biblical system of tithing. “I think God is a pretty fair guy,” he said. “And he said, you know, if you give me a tithe, it doesn’t matter how much you make. If you’ve had a bumper crop, you don’t owe me triple tithes. And if you’ve had no crops at all, you don’t owe me no tithes. So there must be something inherently fair about that.”

“He added: “And that’s why I’ve advocated a proportional tax system. You make $10 billion, you pay a billion. You make $10, you pay one. And everybody gets treated the same way. And you get rid of the deductions, you get rid of all the loopholes.”

Which religion's sins, Christian ISIS equivalent.

He is an asshole!

About Feeling the Bern

Principle before party is my belief. Lifelong Democrat, but I have no tolerance for blue dogs, tepid centrists, or weak Democrats that feel apologetic to Republicans. The way to win a political war is to fight the enemy using their tactics against them.
