Arrest made after 160 Memorial Day crosses were damaged at Henderson park

HENDERSON, KY (WFIE) -
An arrest has been made after 160 Memorial Day crosses were damaged early Saturday in Henderson.

Police say a car driven by 27-year-old Anthony Burrus, of Henderson, drove through the display of crosses in Central Park around 6 a.m.

Officers say Burris denied causing the damage, but said he was driving a 1979 Ford Thunderbird on Saturday morning. He told officers he left the car at McDonald's on South Green Street because it stopped running.

When officers found the car, it had pieces of a cross and ground stake embedded in the tires.

Police found Burris at his sister’s apartment in the 2600 block of Zion Road. He was arrested and taken to the Henderson County Detention Center.

Volunteers were able to get around 140 of the crosses back in the ground. While those will need some repairs, the others were completely destroyed.

Is there any other legitimate reason for the Clinton server other than blocking transparency?

I always hear about the classified info on Hillary's server...

... But I think that there is too little attention paid as to why it was installed in the first place.

What other reason could there be than to thwart transparency and archiving?

Has she ever given a reason?

Outside of the DU echo chamber... Enthusiam for candidates...

What have your experiences been with folks being genuinely excited about a presidential candidate through this primary season?

I've met rabid Bernie and Trump supporters relatively frequently. I have yet to meet anyone really excited about Hillary or any of the former primary candidates.

Have you experienced something different? If you've seen the same, do you think that is a sign of the general dissatisfaction with the status quo? Which is itself something that Bernie and Trump have tapped into with great success.

Thoughts?

Will we see the birth of a viable third party in the next 20-30 years?

As we see large splits in both groups, could we see a new party grow from that 25-75th percentile of the political spectrum?

Or is the 2 party system too firmly cemented in American politics?

Maybe the new group would have a more libertarian bent that would appeal to the social needs of the left and the government and military needs of the right?

The Hillary style democrats will eventually age out and the republicans are already split.
