Governor also signs proclamation declaring today Hunger Free Day in Kentucky
FRANKFORT, Ky. (Jan. 28, 2021) Today, Gov. Andy Beshear signed a proclamation declaring Jan. 28, 2021, as Hunger Free Day in Kentucky and made a surprise donation to the group Feeding Kentucky of nearly $16,000 left over from the Beshear-Coleman inaugural fund.
During a virtual event Thursday morning, the Governor praised the advocates and workers on the front line helping to make sure Kentucky families stay fed, work made tougher by the COVID-19 pandemic.
In the best of times, your work is daunting. During COVID, it has been nothing short of heroic, Gov. Beshear said. The entire commonwealth owes you all a debt of gratitude but also crucially more than just words of thanks. Your efforts deserve our full support.
Gov. Beshear made a surprise announcement during Thursdays event with hunger organizations and advocates that he was donating $15,673 leftover from the Beshear-Coleman inaugural fund to Feeding Kentucky, an organization that helps feed Kentuckians in need. Remaining inaugural funds can only be donated to 501(c)(3) charitable organizations.

Add a verse to my song!
(Sung to the tune of, "Ding Dong, The Wicked Witch is Dead)
Ding-dong, the trump is gone! Which old trump? The dumpity trump.
Ding-dong the wicked trump is gone
Wake up, you walking dead, fold your flags, Biden is Prez.
Wake up, the wicked trump is gone!
Hes gone where the impeached go, down to Mar-a-Lago
We take back Air Force 1, stick a fork in him, he's done,
Ding-dong! The wicked trump is gone!
Is anyone else getting this message on your stimulous check?
When I go to the IRS site, it says:
"Payment #2 Status - Not Available
We are unable to provide the status of your payment right now because:
We don't have enough information yet (we're working on this), or
You're not eligible for a payment."
When I go to FAQs, it says I'll have to file my 2020 tax return before I can get it. I got the last one right away, no problem.
Frustrating.
Paypal question
I had to return some items, and the amount was refunded to my Paypal account. I'm trying to use that to purchase something else now, and Paypal just defaults to my debit card, instead of using the refund credit.
Any ideas on proceeding?
