Joe Biden's Philly Kickoff Rally Shows His Campaign Has The Momentum To Win Back The Midwest 😎🎨

https://www.politicususa.com/2019/05/18/joe-bidens-philly-kickoff-rally-shows-his-campaign-has-the-momentum-to-win-back-the-midwest.html

If the energy on the ground in Philadelphia on Saturday was any indication of what’s to come, Donald Trump is right to fear the candidacy of former vice president Joe Biden.

As Biden took the stage in the city of brotherly love to officially kick off his candidacy, a raucous crowd of 6,000 supporters greeted him and showed that the momentum behind his campaign is anything but “sleepy.”

Some images from on the ground in Philly:

Joe Biden can win the White House 😎,,,,,🎨

https://thehill.com/opinion/campaign/443767-joe-biden-can-win-the-white-house?amp

Put simply, Biden can win both the Democratic nomination and the White House in the election next year. Despite the concerns surrounding his candidacy and the perils of a long political track record, he is likely the only candidate in the field right now who would be able to beat Trump, and it is clear many Democratic voters recognize that. As the primaries unfold, one can hope that voters will, as much as possible, side step the noise and confusion that are inevitable in a primary with 22 candidates.

Let me be clear, I am not against the primary process, nor am I here to endorse Biden or any other candidate for the moment. Candidates must speak out, and we should have debates over key issues such as health care and climate change. However, if the result of that process is that Biden garners the clear vote of Democrats, we should as a party unite around him in a way that gives us a maximum chance to beat Trump, who is now weakened by the trade war he has created and fueled with China, as well as by potential conflicts with Iran, North Korea, and Venezuela...……

You can do it Joe.....

Obama Unveils Unity Fund To Build A Strong Party To Topple Trump

https://www.politicususa.com/2019/05/17/obama-unveils-unity-fund-to-build-a-strong-party-to-topple-trump.html

Former President Barack Obama announced that the Democratic Unity Fund which will be used to back the party’s nominee with a strong organization.
Obama is helping Democrats organize for 2020

Obama wrote:

I’m excited that the DNC asked me to announce a bold new effort: The Democratic Unity Fund. Launching today, the fund will be dedicated to electing our party’s eventual presidential nominee and winning up and down the ballot in 2020.

The Democratic Unity Fund is a promise that whoever earns our nomination, he or she will have a strong, united, and well-organized DNC ready to spring into action the moment the general election starts — a DNC that’s ready to lift us all to victory in November.
Democrats are learning from their 2016 mistakes

The DNC is looking to function more like the RNC did before Trump got his hands on it. The DNC should be a separate organizing force that is dedicated to getting Democrats elected up an down the ballot. The DNC should be about party building especially in places where the Democratic Party has been neglected, especially at the local level.

It will take a party-wide effort to beat Donald Trump in 2020, and that effort will be powered by a strong grassroots organization.

Thank you Obama. We sure miss you....😥

Joe Biden Has Trump Terrified and Reeling In Pennsylvania

https://www.politicususa.com/2019/05/17/joe-biden-has-trump-terrified-and-reeling-in-pennsylvania.html

Trump is so terrified of Joe Biden winning Pennsylvania that he is overseeing his reelection campaign in the state.
Trump is running his own Pennsylvania reelection campaign

The Los Angeles Times reported:
Moving to get a grip on the situation, the Trump political team a few weeks ago traveled to Harrisburg, Pa., for a meeting with Republican National Committee and state GOP officials to address concerns over party infrastructure, organizational readiness and their string of losses, according to two officials with knowledge of the meeting.

The Trump campaign officials — including David Urban, who oversaw Trump’s 2016 operation in Pennsylvania, and Trump 2020 political directors Bill Stepien and Chris Carr — “came to make it clear that they’ll be running the show,” one attendee said.
Biden is leading Trump by 11 points in Pennsylvania. White voters in the state have fled Trump for Biden at this early stage. The problem isn’t state Republicans. The issue is Donald Trump. The president’s personality, conduct, and behavior have rubbed many Pennsylvania voters who supported Obama but flipped to Trump in 2016 the wrong way.

Adding more Trump to the equation runs the risk pushing these voters firmly into Joe Biden’s camp

Biden leads Dems by 18 points, followed by Sanders and Warren 😎

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/poll-biden-leads-dems-by-18-points-followed-by-sanders-and-warren/ar-AABvaqU

Former Vice President Joe Biden maintains a comfortable lead over the other candidates in the Democratic Party's 2020 primary field, according to a new poll.

A Fox News poll released Thursday found that Biden enjoys an 18-point lead over his closest challenger, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), with Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) sitting in third place.

Biden was supported by 35 percent of likely Democratic primary voters in the poll, up from 31 percent in March, while Sanders sat at 17 percent, a slight dip from March when he registered support from 23 percent of voters

Joe Biden Is Soundly Beating Trump In His Own Poll 😎

https://www.politicususa.com/2019/05/15/joe-biden-beating-trump-poll.html

Trump has convinced himself that Joe Biden is the same as Hillary Clinton in a similar way that the president has convinced himself that his campaign was spied on, it wasn’t, and China is paying tariffs, which they do not.

Donald Trump is stuck in 2016. As president, he continually reminds America and relives his previous campaign in his speeches and appearances. The president thinks that he can run the 2016 campaign over again against Joe Biden and win.

In some ways, Trump has the same problem as Bernie Sanders. The country has changed since 2016, but both Sanders and Trump are running the same campaigns that they ran years ago. Sanders is slumping in the polls, and Trump is in position to lose to Biden.

Joe Biden isn’t Hillary Clinton. He doesn’t come pre-baked with decades of negative media coverage. Biden is better at personally connecting to voters than Clinton. Hillary Clinton did win the popular vote in a presidential election. However, Joe Biden is not the same as Clinton, and Trump will be making a fatal mistake if he treats them both as the same.

In 2020 Trump is the establishment and status quo, and the Democratic nominee will be representative of change.

(JTA) -- Jewish voters overwhelmingly favor former Vice President Joe Biden over Sen. Bernie Sanders

https://www.clevelandjewishnews.com/news/national_news/jewish-voters-overwhelmingly-prefer-joe-biden-for-democratic-nominee-poll/article_0042c58d-30e2-565f-a2c5-662f44688dcf.html

In the survey conducted by Morning Consult, 47.1 percent of Jewish registered voters planning to vote in a Democratic primary or caucus cite Biden as their first choice, while 11.1 percent favor Sanders, who is Jewish.
The next three choices: Sen. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts, at 8.9 percent; Sen. Kamala Harris of California, 8.2 percent; and Pete Buttigieg, the mayor of South Bend, Indiana, 7.3 percent.

Pollsters interviewed 15,770 registered voters who are planning to vote in a Democratic primary or caucus, 581 of whom identified as Jewish, between April 29 and May 5. The margin of error is 1 percentage point.
Biden, first elected senator in 1972, has cultivated close ties with the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, and appeared to weather the pro-Israel community’s tensions with the Obama administration over the Iran nuclear deal and other disagreements.
Sanders, an independent and self-described “democratic socialist,” has defended Israel from attacks by the left but is also frequently critical of its current right-wing government.

Joe Biden brings in massive cash haul at Hollywood fundraiser that draws donors 😎🎬

https://www.cnbc.com/2019/05/09/joe-biden-brings-in-700000-at-hollywood-fundraiser.html

Joe Biden raked in over $700,000 on Wednesday at a Hollywood fundraiser, one of the biggest hauls so far in the former vice president's campaign to take on President Donald Trump in 2020.

The evening reception had a host committee of Hollywood luminaries including DreamWorks co-founder Jeffrey Katzenberg, executive and producer Peter Chernin, actor Rob Reiner and Terry Press, the president of CBS Films, according to the event's invitation. It took place at the home of interior designer Michael Smith and James Costos, a former ambassador to Spain under President Barack Obama, the invite shows.

The total eclipsed what Biden raised at his 2020 campaign's first fundraising event in Philadelphia at the home of Comcast executive David Cohen, which was estimated to bring in just over $500,000.

More than 300 people showed up at the Hollywood fundraiser, but not all of them cut checks for the maximum individual amount of $2,800. People familiar with the planning told CNBC that it was "opened up to young professionals," including some who gave $500 to get in the door. Many of the donors came from New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Massachusetts, Florida and Tennessee, the people

U.S. Joe Biden Gives Donald Trump 'Clown' Nickname, Says 'S.O.B.' Had Better Not Insult His Family

A supporter urged Biden to shoot insults back at Trump, who frequently refers to the former senator and vice president as "Sleepy Joe" on Twitter. The president retweeted a staggering 60-plus tweets, many of which were specifically anti-Biden, in less than an hour last Wednesday morning.
But Biden briefly declined, saying “The only place [Trump] has any confidence is in the mud. The only thing he doesn’t know how to respond to is issues and specifics,” he replied. Biden said he has no problem "responding directly" to policy issues and other demeaning remarks the president may make toward others. But that a "mud wrestling match" between the two is exactly what Trump "wants me to do
