Rep. Schiff Blasts GOP Call for Resignation With Exhaustive List of Trump-Russia Ties

Rep. Schiff Blasts GOP Call for Resignation With Exhaustive List of Trump-Russia Ties

by Aidan McLaughlin | Mar 28th, 2019, 9:50 am

Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA), chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, fired back at Republicans on the committee who signed a letter Thursday calling on him to resign.

Rep. Mike Conaway (R-TX) led the charge against Schiff, saying in a televised hearing Thursday morning that Republicans “have no faith” in the chairman’s “ability to discharge” his duties, and urged his resignation.

Schiff responded by comparing his colleagues’s criticisms to President Donald Trump’s “attacks.” He then embarked on a lengthy speech listing all of the ties between President Donald Trump, his campaign, and Russian interference in the 2016 election, including the Trump Tower meeting, Paul Manafort’s ties to oligarchs, Roger Stone’s ties to Wikileaks, and Jared Kushner’s attempts to establish a backchannel with Russians.

We need to forget the Mueller report

It was never going to be the silver bullet that some were hoping for.

Instead we need to focus on winning the 2020 election and the issues that people really care about: Healthcare, a living wage, jobs, etc.

The Democrats have a wealth of great candidates most of whom would make a great President. That's what we need to start working on and forget about investigations.

Does Sanders need to condemn the attack on Chelsea Clinton?

Normally, I don't think any politician is responsible for the actions for their supporters. However, this woman is currently volunteering for the Sanders campaign and was wearing a Sanders shirt when she attacked Clinton. Add to that, this pic posted on her Twitter feed.

I'm not sure myself. Does Sanders need to come out and condemn this woman's actions last week?

Buzzfeed: We Confronted Chelsea Clinton At The Christchurch Vigil. Here's Why.

I'm not going to post an excerpt because I won't repeat their lies. But here is the link: https://www.buzzfeednews.com/article/leendweik/why-we-confronted-chelsea-clinton?fbclid=IwAR08eh2FyLFUkoKDMa6rEzuB50AB1Tcxbp7ZdW_cGuDFqD2dNZMawg8gxj4

Please go there and comment, push back on the lies of these two grifters.

Yesterday's attacks on Chelsea Clinton were dishonest and disgraceful

In case anyone hasn't seen the video of the incident at NYU:
https://twitter.com/babyitsmb/status/1106724125106716672

Afterward the young woman in the video posted this:
https://twitter.com/vivafalastin/status/1106693340484038656

The young woman was referring to this tweet made by Clinton:
https://twitter.com/ChelseaClinton/status/1094773371823366145

A tweet that never attacked Omar or stoked Islamophobia. And she ignores this follow up tweet made by Clinton:
https://twitter.com/ChelseaClinton/status/1095050177323429891

In follow up tweets this woman exposed her own racism against non-muslims:

This is why the left loses. Instead of attacking those really responsible, we attack our own and that has to stop.

Question for all those who have picked a candidate

As the primaries and caucuses take place next year it becomes apparent that your preferred candidate has no path to win the nomination, should they:

A. Drop out immediately and back one of the front runners

B. Fight on to the convention, attacking the front runners in hopes of damaging them enough that the delegates will be forced to look for an alternative.
