I had an asshole tell me that he thought Putin would make a better leader than Biden. He said "Brandon" but I knew what he meant.
I knew there were people out there siding with Putin over Ukraine, but I had never actually met one that desired Putin as a leader.
This moron claimed he liked Putin because he was "more of a Capitalist than Marxist Brandon."
I felt like punching the fool, but didn't because I'm a peaceful man.
Not that long ago such a statement would have been totally unheard. It would have been considered unpatriotic, even treasonous. Now, morons sit on barstools and proclaim their desire for dictators.
This is not the America I grew up in.

I hate to admit it. I usually don't let things get to me this much, but it's 4 AM and I haven't slept well at all. I keep thinking of how f'd up things are in this country politically. Never before have I known so many people to be brainwashed to hate.
