He is 12 and he is drama yesterday he moped around the house all day my boys are not here climbing on the sofa flopping down sighing . For two years home school Boog was with his guys always and now it is going to take some time for him to get used to this routine again.
I just walked through the door from work and a big chocolate lab lump was laying on the couch watching his boys get ready looking sad. I sat down smacked his rump and boog pushed into me hold me man I’m a victim of love I’m a pandemic puppy. 
the actual pandemic puppy Dunk is doing murder parkour at the moment with his cat.
The circles of poop
Just watched them both in backyard Boog is five circles of poop before he shits Dunk is three I wonder what the difference is.
First day of school mess hall is opening up. I'm getting into my Drill sgt mode for a wakeup
On the menu is S.O.S (cream chipped beef ) eggs or rooster bullets made to order. I’m gonna give the troops first call 05:30 I wanted to go 05:00 yet my wife said let them sleep till then. Boog the chocolate lab and Duncan pup the golden and man are ready to do first call like I used to experience at Benning in waking up the platoon ,although minus the trash cans getting beat on or kicked down the barracks bay.
Also no choice adjectives or screaming in faces like infantry Drill’s and reminding you that only if your mother would have swallowed on that one special night they the Drill’s wouldn’t have to deal with us boy I’m telling you talking about passive aggressive NCO’s.
This morning we will just open bedroom doors turn on the lights rip the covers beat them with pillows and dog licks watch them yawning heading in boxers to use one of the bathroom’s me stopping them in the upstairs hallway saying give me a hug as they’re scratching those hairy asses with the other paw.
At this moment the two special K9’s will already probably be back downstairs guarding the chip beef making sure the five foot four one hundred and fifteen pound lady just didn’t eat it all for herself you never know man always except the unexpected.
First up this morning on scheduling for school the sixth grader is I think English literature the two seniors aero space engineering and the other kiddo I think calculus or trigonometry. They’ll be catching the bus around 07:00 Boog and Dunk and I will watch them board maybe thinking there they go our boys man. The three of us are doing a fine job raising them oh yea the lady also.
Three minutes to pillow slinging and dog licking we’re ready get this day on.

The shirts we’re wife beater t shirts no sleeves Budweiser the Hats we’re Budweiser ball caps we were Walmart getting a oil change on 17’s pathfinder. And walking around we found shirts sent pictures to my mother in law wrote boys wanna all dress same first day of school then emailed them to grandma she has no sense of humor in the thirty seven years I’ve known her I can still push her buttons like her daughter , so in a bit she will be calling after her church once she opens up her email to ask what in the heck.
At vets picking up arthritis meds for boog and Mr big paws
Vet profin meds for our two elderly family members and Mr big paws Golden retriever is 14 Boog chocolate lab is 12. Standing in the lobby at vets at counter there was a black lab 11 years old he came up to me sniffing me giving me a wag wag he is arthritic and going blind his family is seeing vet to try new meds for him.
I rubbed mister black lab talked to his family I understand them so much just wanting take their boy home and enjoy him couple more years. I saw how much they loved that boy I understand our furry kids really are the best.
Then I climb in car with boog and dunk pup they’re both like shit that was close man we were at our doctors you know he is a quack. Always wanting to stick us with shots draw our blood stick a thermometer up our ass.Tell you man he’s a bit of a anal freak that doctor with his thermometer anal stuff. He will look in our ears maybe x ray us and give a boog radiation poisoning to see if I’m ok after eating a bag cat food.
Ok man are we stopping at Burger King. And at traffic light boog dunk are hanging out windows of car barking at a dinosaur statue I claim them their mine.

These men and women are our second greatest generation. At work last night I met a new guy he is causal dock worker ups gonna go to police academy in the fall he was in Syria. He asked if I served I said yes Eighty deuce then western Germany all skate duty compared to you I said.
Our two son in laws naval corpsman the other Army walked with the 75th regiment my nephew retiring from army ,a young woman who works with my wife she is attending law school she speaks fluent I think Farsi she was interpreter.
These men and women carried a heavy load for twenty one years. They volunteered to do this nations heavy lifting and I love them all.
