now talking about lifting sanctions on Russia.
Sen. Ron Johnson said that the sanctions don't seem to be working, so he figures they might as well lift the sanctions entirely so we can do business with Russia.
I just can't... Grrr! I'm so sick of these traitors getting away with their crimes.
When do you think the good news will start for us again?
I have to admit, the Supreme Court announcement feels like it massively shifted the hope and positivity we had. The previous week, we were all excited over the news of Manafort going to jail. It felt like a positive moment on our side.
This past week has just felt hopeless and full of despair; like this country can't be saved anymore. And we haven't had any bombshell stories about the Russia investigation to flip the narrative again.
How long do you think it will take to get some positive headlines and momentum for us again?
Countries that allow retirees to move there
Any expats here or anyone know of how tough it is to retire to another country?
Basically all I'm getting so far is unless you're worth several million dollars, your only options to move are to places like Costa Rica, Panama, Belize, etc. but I don't feel comfortable with the crime levels and instability in Central America.
Are there any other options in stable, free countries with a large English-speaking population?
The other frustrating logistical issue we have is we have quite a few pets (lots of cats and a dog) which makes transporting them a challenge.
I get countries can't just let everyone in, I just wish it was easier to change to another country.
