Kansan of the Year: Secretary of State Mike Pompeo

Ole 10 hut..Has more of stumpys shoe polish on his tongue than anyone..besides mitch the bitch..
I couldn't find whether the award was bestowed on this turd by a conservative group..or what?
Has honored kansans before...
But I'll guarantee you folks..this guy is no different than other wingers in high positions..They do not
focus on yours or my welfare..And they are the front runners in creating fake news to get public
support for wars..

As a member of Trump’s Cabinet, Pompeo has been a lightning rod for criticism. Testimony during impeachment hearings highlighted Pompeo’s knowledge of Trump’s July 25 call with Ukraine and the president’s efforts to pressure Ukraine into investigating a political rival.

kANsaaaas winger logic at work..protect the 6th at all costs..

The sick, homicidal in the state are drooling...

Kansas residents under a court order to turn over their guns would be shielded from having to comply, under proposals before the Legislature when it returns next month.

Twin bills filed in the House and Senate would prohibit Kansas authorities from enforcing so-called “red flag” orders issued in other states barring Kansas residents from possessing weapons because they are considered a danger to themselves or others...wtf..?

The “Anti-Red Flag Act,” bans enforcement of any court order “for which the primary purpose is to reduce the risk of firearm-related death or injury” by stopping individuals from owning or having a gun.

The bills would also bar state law enforcement from filing red flag orders or following any federal red flag order issued in the future against a resident of the state. Neither Kansas nor the federal government currently have a red flag law.
“The goal is to make sure that we guarantee Kansans’ Sixth Amendment right, which is due process,” said Sen. Richard Hilderbrand, a Galena Republican who is sponsoring the Senate bill. “That is the sole purpose of it.”

Kobach has lead in Kansas Senate race unless Pompeo enters: report
An internal GOP poll from the party's Senate campaign arm shows former Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach with a commanding lead over the Republican primary field unless Secretary of State Mike Pompeo were to enter the fray.

The Wall Street Journal reports that the poll, conducted for the National Republican Senatorial Committee, found Kobach with the support of 43 percent of likely Kansas primary voters if Pompeo is not in the mix.

However, with Pompeo hypothetically on the GOP primary ballot, the secretary of State garnered 54 percent of GOP support compared to Kobach’s 17 percent.

Kansas had the guts to elect a democrat governor..

New England Patriots admit to inappropriately filming the sideline and field at their next opponent'

Source: Cnn

The New England Patriots are once again embroiled in controversy.
This time, they've been accused of recording the Cincinnati Bengals sideline during the team's game against the Cleveland Browns Sunday. ESPN was first to report on the story. The Bengals are due to play the Patriots Sunday.

"We are aware of the incident, and we are aware it is being investigated by NFL Security," the Bengals said in a statement to CNN Sports. "We will have no further comment."
The Patriots organization released a statement saying its video team was shooting a behind-the-scenes feature on the Patriots scouting staff at FirstEnergy Stadium for a series called "Do Your Job."

The team said it acknowledges that the production crew "unknowingly violated a league policy by filming the field and sideline from the press box."
"The sole purpose of the filming was to provide an illustration of an advance scout at work on the road," the statement read. "There was no intention of using the footage for any other purpose."
The team added that the production crew was "independent of our football operation."
Bengals head coach Zac Taylor was asked by a reporter about the rumors around the incident Monday. He said he was aware of the incident but didn't offer further comment.
