Do you have a favorite recipe?

I tried my very first one at Thanksgiving but it was a powdered mix at a bar so I had to look up how to make.

I used homemade vanilla ice cream with brown and powdered sugars and cinnamon.
Mixed these and some butter in a mug and filled with hot water - leave room for the rum! This is my favorite as it is very creamy from the ice cream. Keep a stir stick or spoon nearby as it seperates easy.

Yes, it appears to be real.

About 40 protesters in downtown on the main 4 corners area. We were there for an hour. Lots of honks, waves and thumbs up.

I am in the Snoqualie valley.
No tv. May go to a bar but doubt there will be many tvs tuned to results.

Especially this “quote” from Kelly:

I visited the Alaska state fair Friday.
Didn’t even get a corn dog because the fair food was so eclectic! I had food that I haven’t seen offered at fairs I have been to in the past. Made the experience all the better.

I found oysters on the half shell from the Prince William Sound (really excellent quality) and Crab cakes too. Sooo freaking good. Also had a salmon quesadilla!! Wth?

Was fabulous!

Will be my first time traveling there.
Totally open about where.
I will be going in August so starting to decide the destination(s).

I am a rockhound so gold panning is a must. Aurora borealis viewing is a must. Also, I would like a train ride.

Hoping there are DUers that will respond with their fav places so I can check out those destinations/suggestions before finalizing plans.
