This is the biggest Trump scandal of them all in my opinion. Trump ignored FDA guidelines and ordered hydroxychloroquine to be used as a treatment for ailing vets. This resulted in an alarming death toll and along with other studies has discredited this as a legit treatment. Trump literally killed Veterans and used them as lab rats. Biden, Democrats, Lincoln Project, Trump needs to be slammed and slammed hard for this. This warrants resignation. This is just evil.

If you think about it, Trump should be wiping us out. Most President’s get a big rally effect in a crisis, he has the money/social media advantage, he has the bully pulpit and can dominate a news cycle whenever he wants, he is corrupt and has corrupted the entire GOP who will stoop as low as low can go if need be, and yet he is losing, and these numbers have been very consistent and trending worse for Trump. We have avoided a protracted and divisive primary. You can’t underestimate how important that is. Imagine if it were a tie and these two were going to blows right now. That would have been an epic disaster. Biden has done an outstanding job unifying the Party by engaging Bernie and the progressive wing into policy discussions. Campaigning during a pandemic will be a tremendous challenge and we need all hands on deck to seize media cycles away from Trump and counter his propaganda. We are winning, but let’s play like we are behind.

Biden is smart to bring Bernie and AOC on board
Look, I have been hard on AOC and Bernie at times. Having said that, I agree with them 90% of the time. My problem with the left left is misplaced idealism and the sour grapes attitude. Perfection is the enemy of the good. This isn’t a debating class at Harvard. Politics and democracy is a substitute for war and the stakes are literally life and death. This is fucking war. This is no time to screw around over trifles. VICTORY IS THE ONLY OPTION! I welcome AOC on Biden Climate Change Team. I love this move. We need unity. Mamba mentality. My message to the Bernie supporters is we need you in the same way you would need us if Bernie won. I would go to war for Bernie if he had won the nomination. No joke. There is no I in war. Biden should do a daily sit down with small biz owners
I think there is a tremendous amount of resentment by small business owners and their employees about how Trump has handled the “small business” bailout. We need to get ahead of this and frame it or the GOP will try to weaponize it to undermine containment efforts and blame democrats for “costing you your small business” blah blah blah. Publicly traded companies who have no business accessing these funds have grabbed cash hand over fist and actual small businesses are getting stiffed. Biden should do daily zoom conference calls with these folks, listen to their struggle, and then try to help them in real ways, slam the table demanding action and get these businesses some free advertisement encouraging folks to shop there, online if necessary. Everyday focus on one. One after another after another. This should be like a constant never ending daily drumbeat. The suffering out there is tremendous over this. It is a double edge sword. Democrats do not underestimate the explosiveness of this issue. We have to be seen as their champion not the source of their angst. Can you dig it?

I watched the Celtic great Bill Russell show up to a Kobe memorial with a Laker jersey. As a life long Laker fan and Celtic hater this was so moving to me. I cried like a baby. Mamba mentality. No more bullshit. No more division. No more individual ego. There is only team and victory that matters now. With life and death and the American way of life at stake there is no option but victory. There are a number of videos of Kobe describing Mamba Mentality. I personally can’t watch them because I get too emotionally because I watched this kid grow into a man before my very eyes. He is like family. What hit home was the extent of support he extended to the homeless population of LA that never even knew about until his death. Not a perfect man but a great one. We are in the locker room now if the ultimate game of our lives. No more bullshit. No more division. No more ego. Only the team and total VICTORY!
