This is a coup against Kamala Harris as much as it is about Biden
If Biden were 109, no one would care if the VP were a white male. They’re worried about Joe dying, not being senile. They know that we’ve governed magnificently under a coalition. It’s not about competency.
Now they can open the convention and get rid of both Biden and Harris.
As a woman who will never underestimate misogyny after 2016, this is my world now.

These Never Trumpers are a blessing and a curse
It’s great that you hate Donald Trump and you’re willing to do anything to defeat him, but you do not and will not understand the strength of Democrats. I’m talking to you, Steve Schmidt. Your White Savior complex is showing. You think we can disregard 3000 delegates and swap out a white man for a younger white man without totally pissing off the base? And exactly how would this save the deep seated loyalty of those of us who were brought up to look to the Democratic Party for our civil rights, our healthcare, our pensions, our Social Security?
We’re supposed to bow down to these geniuses in the Republican Party who want to tell us how to get rid of Trump? You couldn’t get rid of him in the 2016 primaries. DEMOCRATS held him in check in Congress. DEMOCRATS got him out of office. DEMOCRATS elected two senators from Georgia.
I’ll admit that you all are pretty good at nasty ads - keep them coming. And by all means get as many of the big money donors to chip in.
But really, the people who chose Sarah Palin to be a heartbeat away from the nuclear codes need to sit down and STFU when grownups are talking.
80 years ago my dad parachuted onto Cotentin Peninsula
He landed in the marshes and almost drowned while trying to wrangle out of his parachute. Once free, he looked up and saw his 21 year old lieutenant take a bullet to the head. My dad then became in charge of his little squad.
