He goes on to explain that the next stage is destabilisation.
It takes only between two and five years to destabilise a nation. What matters is essentials: economy, foreign relations, defence systems.
The following stage is "crisis".
It may only take up to six weeks to bring a country to the verge of a crisis.
After the crisis, "with a violent change in power, structure and economy" you have the "period of normalisation" which may last indefinitely.

The UK election system needs reform, but I am thankful, that in a year where the mental well being
of the nation is under attack we do not also have to contend with the US election system.
I was reading in Axios today that the billionaires in the race currently have out spent all the other candidates combined in $$$$$$ advertising. In marked contrast with this, in the UK there are strict spending limits on how much one can splurge in the run up to the election (around $10k for the individual and $45k by the political party in each constituency). Now naughty politicians obviously try and get round the spirit of the rules, cause power, but they have very limited opportunities to do so.
There is one particular reason that this spending limit works. I am sure most of you know this already but the UK election season only lasts 6 weeks from beginning to end. When your nation is already a basket case because of austerity and Brexit having to go through the torture of a Primary Season and Election that seems to last for years, would I fear send our nation over the edge. I honestly don’t know how you manage to stay sane my friends.
Six weeks seems like six years at the moment… but for us it will be over soon, one way or the other.

And everyone who has served honourably knows this... it is an insult and an attack on the integrity on those who do serve with honour... and lets face it - only a Trump cultist would think committing war crimes was OK as long as you are a Trump supporter, in fact lets go one step further and say the characteristics of a Trump supporter would lend them to be the exact type to commit war crimes - as they are without any ethical or moral framework, as far as I can tell,

Former White House counsel Don McGahn can no longer avoid testifying in the House of Representatives’ impeachment inquiry.
A judge ruled on Monday that McGahn cannot continued defying a subpoena, dealing a major blow to the White House’s efforts to keep its former top lawyer from testifying.
McGahn is a key witness to President Donald Trump’s potential obstruction of justice, as he testified under oath that the president gave him orders to fire special counsel Robert Mueller and then ordered McGahn to cover up this order by creating a falsified record that would contradict his own sworn testimony.
A judge ruled on Monday that McGahn cannot continued defying a subpoena, dealing a major blow to the White House’s efforts to keep its former top lawyer from testifying.
