Arrgh! Commercials broke-in smack dab in the middle of Hayes's coverage of tRump lackey Cornyn

And how big john is trying to pretend he hasn’t dutifully tied himself to tRump over these four awful years.

Hayes brought up cornyn’s stupid/awful and flippant tweet from March 14th when the piece was rudely interrupted:

https://twitter.com/JohnCornyn/status/1238878952644624390?s=20

I certainly haven’t forgetten that cornyn has been an irresponsible numbnut tRumper all along, but I really wanted to see that piece! Flarge!

He said the executive orders fit in two different buckets

One being a “wouldn’t it be nice” category that includes such feckless ideas like having the exec branch research how to do anything about evictions, and the deferral of payroll taxes as some kind of fix rather than what it is - a questionable punt on the whole matter.

And the other is the especially unlawful kind like the pResident over-extending his powers to allocate $400 to citizens without an act of Congress.

Basically, the only thing he did with any force was forgive student loan debt interest through a law pursued by Clinton in 1993 and voted into law by Congress with Biden voting for it and Gore casting the deciding vote. Ha!

This is a very rough paraphrasing without the benefit of rewinding, so catch the segment as it was a rather plain laying-out of tRump’s bs from over the weekend.

Oh, that's so good

Thank you for sharing this - I needed to read that today, and probably again tomorrow...

Whoa. That's scary.

Let me get this straight... She helped draft and pass the resolution to join the DOJ’s suit against sanctuary city laws and went about touting her anti-immigration official policies on fox cult views, repeatedly.

Oh, but now that she’s running for dana “never left a ruble on the ground” rohrabacher’s old seat, she’s suddenly sympathetic to immigrants when presenting herself to a primarily Vietnamese audience?

How do republicans find the worst people? I mean, this is bad. She, too, is a lying tRumpist jerk willing to harm people for publicity and power.

Was gonna comment just so I could journal this

In order to bring it up on Monday.

Instead, I think I’ll throw that headline in my signature for a few days.

And here’s the link to the underlying WaPo reporting: https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/ivanka-trump-and-jared-kushner-earned-at-least-36-million-in-outside-income-last-year-new-disclosures-show/2020/07/31/9eb71e66-d36a-11ea-8c55-61e7fa5e82ab_story.html
