15 Second Flu Shot, didn't even have to turn off my truck.
Got to hand it to my doc. Got a call last week of free flu shot clinic on the next Friday (today) so I signed up.
Text hit my phone around 12:30, reminding me of appointment at 1:20.
Pull up to the office on the dot and his team was fully PPE'd up and waiting by the door of his office. I masked up as the nurse walked up to my window. I rolled it down, she asked my name, verified my insurance provider by asking "Is insurance still the same?" I said "yes" and she swabbed my arm and then poked me with the needle.
The nurse looked at me with obvious Smiley Eyes(tm) and said "Have a great day!" 
15 seconds, if that from time I rolled down my window.
Get your shot! Or not...not my call really, so ymmv. 
Texas Mail In Ballots are supposed to be sent out today by your County Clerk.
45 days from Election is when they told me then send them out. If you do not receive your ballot by Wednesday of next week, give your county clerk a call and see what they have to say. I'll be calling them to make sure they mailed them out and also ask them what I need to do if we don't receive the ballot. I know I can vote in person, but want to make sure I know the process so I don't get stopped from in-person voting because I was supposed to vote by mail.

The situation is becoming like the Ouroboros, each side is prepping and it seems like no matter what happens, someone is going to do something stupid and regretful. We have to be better then that, there has to be a non-violent solution, but the asshole in the whitehouse just keeps feeding his base and raising the heat. If we had a real president, one with compassion and soul, like Joe Biden, we could easily heal the wound and stifle the flames of hatred.
My biggest fear is that the divide is so entrenched that no matter who is president, the hatred and vitriol will be hard to quell. Trump has made it a very difficult task to bring America back, but Joe is up to the challenge.
