StarfishSaver's JournalDoes anyone think the Russians are all over social media but not on Democratic Underground?
It was SO great hearing commentators today rave about how perfectly Pelosi's handling impeachment
Words like "brilliant," "adamant," "focused," "disciplined," "relentless," and "perfectly timed" are music to my ears when applied to the woman who has been attacked, criticized, and second-guessed throughout this process but is now showing us she knew exactly what she was doing all along and is now doing it pitch perfect.
GO, Speaker Pelosi!!!
Malcolm Nance says Tulsi's NOT a Russian "asset"
He suggests she's a "useful idiot" with room for advancement.

Christine Pelosi shames Trump on Twitter
Correction (because Trump is incapable of shame): Christine Pelosi reminds the rest of us what a pig Donald Trump is.

Chuck Todd's questioning of Buttigieg about Clinton/Gabbard reveals glaring double standard
Like a dog with a bone, Todd asked Mayor Pete repeatedly whether Clinton's comment was appropriate. To his credit Mayor Pete refused to take the bait, but kept shifting his answer to focus on the need to address Russian interference in the 2020 election.. But Todd wouldn't let go, continually asking about Hillary's comment, Even saying that Gabbard is a Member of Congress and a veteran, as if that means she shouldn't be criticized.
This from a man who, along with his colleagues, turns any allegation made by Trump and Republicans into a premise for analyzing the allegation as if it's valid.
One of the reasons that Hillary Clinton is not president is that, instead of questioning the appropriateness of Trump's blatantly false allegations against her, Todd and others demanded that Hillary answer and disprove every allegation. And then they obsessed over whether her defense was effective and how she SHOULD have responded.
Now Hillary, as a private citizen, makes a comment that doesn't even directly identify a particular candidate and, instead of discussing the actual problem she's identifying, Todd obsesses over whether Hillary should have said what she said.
When Hillary is accused of something, the focus is on what she was accused of, whether she's guilty of what she's accused of, and if she defended herself properly against what she was accused of. But when Hillary says something that people see as an accusation, the question is whether Hillary went too far by saying it and Todd refuses to even mention the issue that she raised, even when pushed by his guest.
Kudos to Mayor Pete for at least trying to focus on the real issue.
When Hillary Clinton was First Lady and said what she thought, she was told to watch what she said
or better yet, don't say anything.
When she was in public office and watched what she said, she was accused of being inauthentic.
Now that she's a private citizen and speaks her mind, she's being told to be quiet and go away.
I'm starting to think some people just don't want and never wanted Hillary Clinton to ever say anything no matter where she is or what's she's doing.
Hmmm.
If Steyer and Yang were successful but not wealthy businessmen
- if, for example, they ran small but very effective non-profits, or were excellent local community organizers - would they be taken seriously as presidental candidates?
If not, what is it about the ability to make lots of money that qualifies anyone to be president of the United States?
Harris gives Steyer a quick tutorial on "One Nation Under a Groove"
"C'mere Tom Steyer ... Nothing can stop us now ..."

I love these moments in politics. It reminds us that the candidates are all just human beings and most of them like and respect each other.
Some people are more worked up over our former nominee warning that the Russians hope to set up a
Democratic candidate for a third party run than they are about a Democratic candidate calling our former nominee "the queen of warmongers, embodiment of corruption, personification of the rot that has sickened the Democratic Party for so long," and accusing her of being behind a "concerted effort" to destroy her reputation.
Can anyone who is more exorcised about the former than they are about the latter explain why?
