I am ready for a brutal debate tomorrow night

Who else thinks it will be a fire-cracker of a debate?

Democratic Party Logistics-trying again

What happens if hundreds of local/state level candidates and dozens of people in Congress will have to go against the party's "standard bearer". I wanted to start a discussion on how these people would be supported by the national Democratic Party apparatus? Does the Party even have the means to run two parallel operations like this or will these candidates be left to their own devices without Party support?

Democratic Party logistics with Sanders as the nominee...

We desperately need a brokered convention...

I just do not see how we unite the party otherwise. A brokered convention will force the nominee to pick someone from the other side of the party as the VP candidate.

If Sanders is the nominee and he picks Nina Turner or Tulsi Gabbard, we will be killed in a GE due to turnout

If Biden is the nominee and he picks Bloomberg, we will be killed in the GE due to turnout

The only way forward is a unity ticket between the moderates and the left wing of the party

With Bernie as the nominee, lots of down ballot candidates will have to run against him

People need to realize and acknowledge this fact. A lot of down-ballot candidates in multiple states will have to run against Bernie, in addition, to their republicans opponent. This will be unavoidable. The unity among democrats will be an illusion at best. We might not be able to be on the same page about a lot of things, but we need to be on the same page about this.

Sanders replacement in the Senate would be a republican

The governor is republican. So it will be just a little bit harder to get control of the Senate—IF Bernie is the nominee and wins
