What is the acceptable number of Gaza women and children it's OK to die... to get ONE Hamas terrorist?
NO ONE is stopping Israel from getting back at Hamas... some people are just asking WHAT is the acceptable price?
Obviously in WW2 and Vietnam and Iraq, the US made this same calculation...
So what's YOUR opinion?
Whats the acceptable ratio? 3:1?
5:1?
Or be really careful and make it 1:1?

P.S. Of course this is all the fault of Hamas. No sane person disagrees with this. Hamas needs to be eradicated.

Since I was a teen, I've always made my own conclusions and even then thought that this barren molten rock was pelted by cosmic spitballs with ice and organic materials... I think I wrote an essay about it and my Science teacher gave me an F.

To some extent, sure... but that's not why this happened.
Hamas planned this event to be SOOOO tragic and horrendous that it would trigger a larger conflict and crises...
Hamas has no problem getting 90% wiped out and losing a million civilians IF the world turns on Israel for the retaliation. They want chaos globally... they want a return to the 2000's and early 2010's where we saw random terror acts around the world.
I'm afraid the last decade has probably been just a respite.

First, let me apologize about my lack of knowledge re: Israel and the Palestinians... but
Yes. I know the history of the region and both sides make very strong arguments why that piece of land belongs to one side or another... or possibly both.
But to be honest, MOST corners of the planet could be argued that they have belonged to different groups at times of history and the present map was drawn by the side that beat the other.
But for now... let's just follow this path. A 2 state solution inside what is presently named "Israel" is highly unlikely.
Gaza is an open air prison, filled with innocents elbow to elbow with armed militants who hate Israel.
So here's my thoughts. Would the Palestinians accept a "new" home?
I mean, I've been to Dubai and they turned sand and seashells to one of the Globe's most amazing cities.
Is it possible... possible that the UN could work with some countries in the region to cobble together the land mass to build a new and fresh Palestinian State? Away from Israel??
Have the UN come in and help establish a Government with a Democratic Constitution and UN stewardship for a hundred years... the new State would not be home to militants and would have no arms or military.
There would certainly be a great deal of funding from the region, including the Saudis and the Emirates...
Let's try not to "light me up" here... but any thoughts?
