Why do so many DU members still use Twitter?

I still see people posting Twitter links everywhere. I deleted my account months ago and won't touch the place. Every week Elon goes even lower with ever more fascist, disgusting behavior. Why aren't more DU members leaving? Especially when there are alternatives like Threads.

Twitter has become so toxic and hopelessly broken that it needs to die ASAP.

WTF, BBC?!?!?

I wish I had taken screen shots, but over the last 24 hours I've looked at the BBC app on my phone approximately 8 times, and all but one of those times, the Biden documents story was the lead story! Not even CNN has had it at the top of their website the few times I've looked, and Fox News didn't have it at the top when I just looked now!

I used to trust BBC, but over the last couple of years I've noticed a tendency to "both sides" issues in ways that are sometimes worse than the US media. After the first presidential debate of 2020, for example, their article on the debate made it sound like both Biden and Trump had ruined the debate with shouting, taunts, and insults.
