Hallelujah Chorus - Royal Choral Society

It.was sung last night in New Haven, CT.

Wouldn't it be nice going into the next few weeks if everyone had cheap or free access

to rapid flow tests that could be used every day? Like they've had in Europe for many months? Can't we try to do something about this still?

Best advice on preparing for Omicron from Dr. Jha:

He's a professor of Public Health at Brown University. The public health guys seem less inclined to panic than some scientists. If you're interested, I think you can read the entire thread. Practical solutions to practical problems. Always good to hear.

Omicron lands in Connecticut!

Dr. Grubaugh at Yale New Haven Hospital is top drawer at the Covid sampling thing. He ID'd about 10 percent of samples to be Omicron Wed. Bigger percent yesterday. He figures Omicron will be dominant in CT soon. He has a twitter feed for those with an interest. This news should hit our local msm soon.

Go Tell it on the Mountain - Dolly Parton

I was set straight at an early age.

Actually the drinking age should be raised to 30. Stop these criminals before they order another chocolate martini!

The latest news from South Africa

I'm so obsessed I check out the SA NICD twitter feed at 2 pm every day. If you believe the stats, cases may be increasing but definitely not doubling every 3 days after doing that for a while. Gauteng province may have peaked. Positivity rate is concerning.

The mavens really don't know what's going on with Omicron.. Best to wait until the end of the year. I will be the first to panic when the time comes.
