S8:E7 (Victim Blaming 'D's for Conservative Terrorism)

This week on Across the Desk, Kit talks about how Conservatives in Oklahoma are rallying around Ryan Walters as Democrats in the Oklahoma Legislature call for inquiries into his impeachment. Which means (R)s are saying the bomb threats wouldn't happen if they'd just lay off of Ryan Walters...

S8:E6 (Conservative Terrorism and the (R) Response)

This week on Across the Desk, Kit talks about the bomb threats to the Union School District in Northeast Oklahoma and the 'slow to respond' statements to come from (R)s only after 4 days of repeated threats to schools, administration buildings, teacher and elected official homes, before anyone would say a word. And only after it was Superintendent Ryan Walter's house became a target did he, and others, speak up. And when they did? It was about 'the rhetoric' and 'All sides'. Showing us once again what those 'Conservative Values' actually look like.

'More propaganda': State Supt. hands out 'confidential report' bashing his predecessor to select Rep

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR)- Select few Republicans were provided with a “confidential report” written by State Superintendent Ryan Walters this week.

News 4 was provided with a copy of the report from an anonymous source.

The Oklahoma State Department of Education’s Chief Policy Advisor, Matt Langston previously admitted to “trapping” employees with different versions of an email to see who was leaking information to the press. Because of this, News 4 has elected to not publicly share the copy we received in case of a similar situation happening. News 4 was tipped off on Wednesday about a “confidential report” being shared amongst some lawmakers, but not all.

“Superintendent Walters sent a confidential report to all Republican members of the legislature,” stated Langston.

News 4 has confirmed not all Republicans received the report based on off-camera discussions with those lawmakers and Capitol communications members.

News 4 asked Langston why Democratic lawmakers were not provided with a copy.

“The confidential report was sent to serious decision makers in the state. It was a thoughtful process on how we created our distribution list,” added Langston.

Across the Desk - S8:E3 (The Continued Assault on Public Education)

This week on Across the Desk, Kit Fairchild talks about the statement that came out from Oklahoma Rep. Sherrie Conley about the Tulsa Race Massacre not being about race and the whole cabal of Conservative cowardice when it comes to learning lessons of history that may make them 'uncomfortable'.. (It's the actual language in the bill they wrote!).. And how State Superintendent, Ryan Walters, says it's okay to teach about the Tulsa Race Massacre, as long as no one walks away feeling bad about it.. White washing history and then weaponizing state law to take away public school accreditation is what this week's episode is all about...
