Across the Desk - S7:E19 (Warr Acres, OK has Two festivals coming in June!)
This week on Across the Desk Kit welcomes special guest, the Mayor of Warr Acres, Roger Godwin to the show where the topic are the two festivals coming in June, just a couple of weeks. The first is the Warr Acres Multicultural Festival on Saturday, June 3rd from 11am -6pm in front of Morelos Supermercados on N.W. 36th Street and N. MacArthur Blvd. Then the Route 66 Festival a week later on the 10th of July from 9am- Noon, which is a tri-city festival. As well as all that is going on with the City of Warr Acres as a small suburb on the grow.

This week on The Will Rogers Experiment Sean Cummings and Kit Fairchild talk about Lyin' Ryan Walters and what and if there would be any consequences to lying before an official committee meeting of the Oklahoma House of Representatives. Technically, it's fraud. Just like when lying to the government about how much money you made last year to cheat on your taxes is fraud, same law applies here. We also talk about the Oklahoma County Jail Trust and what needs to happen now that the scathing article from The Oklahoman "Broken Trust" came out on Sunday. As well as OKC making the news when it comes to an OKC police officer giving the finger to a bicyclist when a truck almost ran over them.

This week on Across the Desk, Kit talks about the latest tantrums of Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt as he wantonly and with disregard and abandon, vetoes legislation from the Senate. But not for ideology or because he would disagree with them, some he may.. But because those Senate bill authors opposed his take over of public education money to private ultra-religious education... It's petty, it's immature and it's absolutely irresponsible. It's all about the "Stitt Fit" this week on Across the Desk.
