The presidential candidate whose mental acuity has not been the obsession of the national political media

From Djt's rally in Florida on Tuesday night:

“Did anyone ever see the lovely movie ‘The Silence of the Lambs’? Did you ever see it? Did you ever hear of Hannibal Lecter? He was a lovely...He would love to have you for dinner. He will take you. He had many people for dinner....We have a lot of people coming in. ‘Oh, that’s terrible what Trump would say. He is rambling about Hannibal Lecter.’ No, I’m not rambling. We are allowing people from insane asylums and mental institutions into our country by the tens of thousands.”

“We don’t eat bacon anymore.”

“Mothers will never again be forced to watch their children overdosing in hosp…and we will never allow mothers to watch their child hopelessly dying in their arms, screaming, ‘What can I do, what can I do? Help me God, what can I do?’ We are a nation whose once revered airports are a dirty, crowded mess....You sit and wait for hours and then are notified that the plane won’t leave, that they have no idea when they will. Where ticket prices have tripled. They don’t have the pilots to fly the planes, they don’t seek qualified air traffic controllers, and they just don’t know what the hell they are doing.”

“We will take over the horribly run capital of our nation in Washington, D.C., and clean it up, renovate it, and rebuild our capital city, so that it is no longer a nightmare of murder and crime. But rather it will become the most beautiful capital anywhere in the world....Right now, if you leave Florida, ‘Oh, let’s go, darling, let’s look at the Jefferson Memorial, let’s look at the Washington Monument, let’s go and look at some of the beautiful scenes,’ and you end up getting shot, mugged, raped.”

The presidential candidate whose mental acuity has not been the obsession of the national political media for the past two weeks appears to have a 'firm command of reality.'

Biden and his campaigners should shine huge spotlights on:

- DjT's friendly meeting this week with Orban, ally of
, a spit in the face of NATO's anniversary.
- Project 2025 - roadmap to theocratic,White
nationalist neo-fascism that clearly mirrors the values and
aims of Djt.
- DjT's continuing praise of Jan. 6 Capitol attackers and
continuing denial that Biden rightly won the 2020
- Djt's clearly documented close association with
Epstein, notorious pedophile.

Bottom line: This election should not revolve around how you say the message -- it's mainly about what the substance of the message is.

Gretchen Whitmer stands with Biden

Pushing back on calls for Biden to step aside from the 2024 campaign, Whitmer said: “He shows up every day and fights for the American public.

“He cares about other people more than he cares about himself, and that’s precisely why I think this moment where we have Donald Trump, who’s been convicted of 34 felonies, who cares only about Donald Trump, we can’t lose sight of how high these stakes are.

We have a field, and unless one person, Joe Biden, makes an alternative decision, this is the field, and we’ve got to go.”

Abraham Lincoln - Famous for Stuttering

'My name is Abraham Lincoln.
I abolished slavery in the United States. My most famous speech is engraved on the walls of a memorial and memorized by school children.

I stuttered.

You know Abraham Lincoln was the President of the United States. You might even know that he was the 16th President. You’ve heard he had a reputation for honesty.
But did you know that he stuttered?

Early Background
Lincoln was born into a poor family. His mother died when he was young. He only had 12 months of formal schooling in his life, but he didn’t let the lack of formal education or his stuttering stand in the way of changing the world. Lincoln loved language, he was an avid reader, and he was determined. Lincoln practiced his speaking skills with sermons and stories told to friends and family as a form of self-therapy.

When he was first elected to state office in 1834 it was on the power of his personality and not his rhetoric. In the early 19th century, “defective articulation” was many times considered to be a sign of low intelligence.

Lincoln didn’t let that perception of his stop him; and knew that to be a successful lawyer and legislator he would need to overcome this barrier.'

A Tide Change in Time

I'm quite certain that by September-October 2024, the 1st debate riffraff about Biden will have dropped toward the 'bottom of the glass' and the growing tsunami of djT's mega-lies, garbled and nonsensical speeches will rise to the top.

By that time, his first trial sentencing will be the cream on top of it.

A reenergized, increasingly motivated Biden will likely have convinced all the nitpicking doubters to stay aboard to help crush the iceberg we face in reverse of the Titanic's fate.

"Star Trek" fame actor George Takei has urged President Joe Biden to continue his campaign

'despite increasing calls for his withdrawal from the 2024 presidential race after a lackluster performance at the first presidential debate.

What Happened: On Monday, Takei posted on X, formerly Twitter, in support of Biden, saying, “Ignore them, Joe. Keep running. Keep governing. They're starting to sound like a pack of starving hyenas, and the voters can hear it clearly.” This comes in the wake of a series of events that have led to calls for Biden’s withdrawal from the 2024 presidential race.'

Re: 2024 Election - The bottom line is:

No matter who will be the Democratic candidate in Nov.'24...
Get out and vote for him/her...
...because the Republican alternative is a guaranteed American disaster.

"It's up to us" - Excerpts from Mary Trump's Newsletter

"I imagine you’re as sick as I am of the pundits and the corporate media doing Donald’s bidding and acting like our election is already over. Since the debate between President Joe Biden and Donald, the New York Times and way too many elected Democrats (who really need to take a time out) want us to believe that the die is cast, that Donald has won, and there is nothing Biden can do about it. Yes, it has been a rough couple of weeks. Well-meaning people are worried—and they’re worried because the stakes are astronomical. I was at the debate—I know Biden had a bad night, but what freaked those of us in Atlanta out much more was the CNN moderator’s horrific malpractice, and Donald’s unceasing fascism and bizarre lies.

Four days later, the Supreme Court of the United States demonstrated its willingness to overturn 248 years of adherence to the Constitution in order to make Donald a king. There are a lot of good people justifiably concerned about this election and the immediate future of our country—but continuing to beat up on Pres. Biden while giving Donald a pass is only making the job of saving American democracy harder.

My uncle wants to silence our voices. He wants to decide who has a say and what direction this country goes in. He wants to take away our right to vote and have our votes counted just as Putin has done in Russia. Donald is so close to an imperial presidency he can taste it. Only we can stop him.

Democracy’s great comeback started in Europe. Let’s keep the momentum going here by standing behind team Biden/Harris and doing everything to re-elect the only pro-democracy ticket on the ballot. Besides, it’ll be fun to prove the pundits wrong while watching Donald slip into irrelevance.

We can do this—it’s up to us".

If there will be a 2nd debate in September, between Djt and Biden...

I suggest:
1 hr. prior to debate, both candidates would be medically
. If necessary, debate would be postponed.

-One moderator will ask questions
-Other moderator will fact check after each reply
-Each candidate's mic muted after time allotted ends.
-Debaters will be given 1-2 min. to rebut opponent,1-2 min.
to ans. question.
-Both give final statements afterwards.

Maryland Gov. Wes Moore recently rallied support for President Biden in a swing through Wisconsin.

Moore told BI that while Biden's age was a concern for some voters, it didn't dominate discussions.
"It's not so much about the age issue … it's the issues," Moore said in a recent interview.
During a recent swing through Wisconsin, Wes Moore pointed to President Joe Biden's efforts on health care and infrastructure as he spoke to voters about backing the Democratic ticket this fall.

For the first-term Maryland governor, Moore's praise of the Biden administration and his engagement with voters — especially Black voters — across the Badger State couldn't have come at a more critical time for the president.
