Dec 2017

that Mueller's team and Trump's lawyers would be meeting Thursday or Friday. I would expect if Mueller thinks Trump is in a 'guillotine' mood, he might drop the blade first, thereby deflating any ego flight the Trumpster may be enjoying. Perhaps mentioning his son and son-in-law as the next indictments on the roster. Or someone else brought on charges, someone who would rock Trump's sense of invincibility.

I'd be surprised if even The Donald was reckless enough to go after Mueller directly. The more logical approach (I know using the term in relation to Trump seems silly) but nevertheless, the more logical, less risky approach would be going after Rod Rosenstein and demand that he fire Mueller. Rosenstein declines, then the next up declines, etc., etc., and we're into Saturday Night Massacre territory.

He may believe that the Christmas holiday is perfect for these shenanigans because citizens will be distracted with holiday preparations.

If so,, he has a rude awakening coming his way.
