7. I've essentially written off one of my son-in-laws.

He worships trump, mainly because of a perception that the new tax law will benefit him and his business, to the extent of a few thousand dollars. I honestly believe that my son-in-law wouldn't mind if trump imposed a dictatorship on this country tomorrow morning---just as long as those tax savings remained in place. Luckily he and my daughter live far away, so I don't have to tolerate him very often or for very long. I probably ought to feel guilty about these feelings...but I don't.
