The black women who voted for Doug Jones DID make the difference. But only because at least 20,000 Republican voters gave a write-in (worthless) vote, rather than vote for Roy Moore. All the hoopla and Moore being such a terrible candidate, made these normally Republican people refuse to give him their vote. That says a lot.

It took both things to happen together, and that's how Doug Jones was elected.
Democrats worked together and put a good man in the Senate.
