To offer to take only a $39K salary as President (reflecting the country's median incomes) is a populist move that may win over a lot of voters tired of these candidates running in order to line their pockets. Whether you are on the other side, an independent or a fed-up Dem, you gotta smile at Paul's tactics.
...preventing him from foregoing his Congressional salary to prove his point?
In fact, have his kooky son join him to make a bigger statement.
