8. This is huge

Have a close friend who is close to 20 yrs of ODAT. No one ever thought they would be able to get through a month, let alone 20 years.

Scared serious by family intervention, then had the dough to get to Betty Ford, then the unbelievable hard work and diligence and constant sharing of its importance to their life.... and voila! Twenty Years! And yet, still, ODAT.

Many many meetings, sometimes two or three times a day if possible by traveling to other venues, reaching out, appreciating those who honor their sobriety, and on and on.
