32. I never thought I could quit drinking but Ive been sober for 36+ years.

You’re right, things won’t be perfect but it sure beats the alternative. In my sobriety I’ve taken some hard shots but I’ve never considered drinking as any type of remedy.
When I was first trying to stay sober I was as wobbly as a newborn colt. Then this old timer told me,” There’s not a problem in the world that a drink won’t make worse.”
And that one sentence made so much sense to me.
