In reply to the discussion: Sanders Blames Democrats For Looming Government Shutdown [View all]TheBlackAdder
(29,981 posts)80. I sat on it for a couple of days and clicked on it, knowing it was clickbait, which it was.
There's been an OP history that tries to cast Bernie Sanders in whatever bad light possible, even if that is just the subliminal OP title that people see on the GD page and don't click on it. Sort of like running Google ads, knowing that one will be read, but a thousand people will see the ad title and not click on it. So, if you word the ad properly, you get the message across without incurring a click charge.
It's a given SHS would back up Trump, so the OP was really a waste anyway.
And, no. The defacto is Bernie Sanders here. This was discussed in multiple other OPs over the past year.

The great big "Sarah Sanders" tweet graphic wasn't a clear enough hint for you?

I'm not a Bernie fan, but I concur that this is really misleading. NT

It's a form of clickbait. By default Sanders is Bernie, and SHS is to be identified as such.

I thought DU had a soft rule that SHS is supposed to be identified. Sanders implies Bernie Sanders.

Hard enough for newbies to figure out the lay of the land with written rules.....

Seems like there's enough room in the subject line to write "Sarah" before "Sanders"

There is, but some DUers think its fun to provoke. Their methods are from Karl Roves playbook.

Is the "confusion" being expressed actually "disappointment"? Anything's possible, I suppose.

With a phrase like "blames Democrats" in the title, it should be self-evident...
