(12,272 posts)I asked you what your argument is... to spell it out for us and it's interesting that you come here "demanding proof" for an argument you seem to be having with yourself mainly. That's okay. You can do that but remember we are not www.psychicunderground.com.
See it's easy for me to say I don't have proof because guess what? I don't. I am not in Aurora, I am not a cop in Aurora, I am not a reporter in Aurora, I am not the killer in Aurora and information is still coming out and being updated.
Tell me what PROOF you have. All I see is a picture of a vest that was purchased. That doesn't tell the entire story now does it?
There are only a few of the items on that receipt that were found in his possession or on/in his property.
What I see is that you posted a pic of a tactical vest which is black. Holmes was wearing ALL black... by reports. I'm pretty sure if you are in a dark theater, smoke is rising and the guy was wearing a throat and groin protector, a black vest, probably over a black shirt you might just think it is bullet proof. NOW with that said, reporting at a time when events are still moving can be tricky and incorrect. I bet you know that don't you?
There are multiple reports that several items (NOT ON THAT RECEIPT) were also found in his car. There are reports that a bullet proof vest or tactical ballistic vest was found in his car. Was he wearing this vest along with the vest you posted? I do not have proof that he was, do you have proof that he wasn't? If so PROVE IT. Could the vest you posted have been mistaken for a bullet proof vest...while yes...yes I think it could have been. I'm sure we will eventually find out more.
How about just having a discussion about it. Did that occur to you or are you fixated on something here that we are all not allowed in on?
Why is this so important to you? What is your beef with whether or not the guy was wearing a vest? Do you have any issues with the leg guards, the throat guard, the helmet, the tactical gloves, the groin guard? Do you have an issue on whether he was wearing all black? How about his hair dye? Do you know which brand he used and does it matter?
If you want someone to prove this to you why don't you contact the Aurora police department and ask them to verify the claim?
Maybe write a letter to the editor of the newspaper there?
