43. Me neither.

My sister informed me of an unwritten family rule, " We (my last name) never marry or date GOP supporters". This was after I had begun to date a guy who lived with his grandmother who had an "I LOVE Bush" sign in her window. I tore it up when Granny was on a family outing one day. She never noticed. The relationship was doomed none the less. I should have known better. I have enough patience to teach first graders, but anyone with GOP beliefs is a beyond my realm of patience and principles. Even my outgoing message on my phone machine for 1 1/2 years has been, "This is ***-****. Please leave a message, unless you are a Republican then please run along". I think it shows considerable restraint since I really want to say, "...then go fuck off".
