5. A defendant can withdraw a guilty plea before sentencing if they can show

"a fair and just reason," not just because they want to. What would that reason be in Flynn's case? He probably has spilled his guts to Mueller already, but they won't be sentencing him until after May 1, when the report is due. So maybe he's angling for a lighter sentence? Not sure what, if any, leverage he has, other than not making the prosecutors go to trial. Which isn't much.
